River Pines Golf Club, Alpharetta

If you're looking for a well kept course with a nice variety of holes, it's hard to go wrong at River Pines. Very long hitters may not think much of it. But the condition of this course is really very nice and the green fees are reasonable by local standards. Overall value for the middle handicapper can't be beat. It's also one of the very few courses in the North Atlanta area that is walkable, so do consider taking advantage of that rare opportunity in Atlanta to play the game as it was meant to be played (my editorial opinion). Practice range is nice and included in green fee. Chipping not allowed on practice green (didn't help my game). The club house restaurant is limited to casual fare, so don't plan on a full sit-down meal afterward if that's your thing. Enjoy. I'll be back.
