SOLICITORS FROM MALL VENDORS!!!!!!
What I like about your mall is that if offers so many stores that I love. The problem is that I can never make it into them because of the vendors set up inside the mall practically making me try the products against my will. They don't just ask they attack you with these sales pitches and start rubbing products on your arms, hands or hair. It is crazy! I have never felt so violated while just simply trying to shop for my kids school clothing on a tight schedule. I didn't even make it into all the stores I went to shop at because I was so tired of being approached and handled by these people that when I saw the next one coming at me I turned around and exited the mall completely. Something needs to be done about this. If I want to try the products I will approach them and inquire about the product, but nothing is worse than having someone run you down and start putting products on you and the entire time you are saying, no thank you or I don't have time for this. They are trained to have an answer for everything and to not take no for an answer. This is a nice upscale mall that I have always enjoyed going there very much, but I will think twice about driving 2 hours to spend the weekend and shop at this particular mall after I have visited it for about 8 years taking along many of my friends because this is such a nuisance to me and my friends. It is like allowing people to stand in the mall and beg for money. It is no different. It is upsetting when people like that approach you. I was upset the rest of evening on my two hour drive back home because I didn't even get what I went for after all of that. I stood back at one point and watched some of them and they were doing it to many people, especially the females and also refusing to take no for an answer even when the people became agitated and tried to move on they still would not leave them alone. PLEASE! Someone needs to address this situation and get it under control. I had one girl grab me and start putting some cream on my face with me telling her no. I was trying to explain to her that I have severe allergies to some makeup and creams and she still would not stop, I finally just started walking away trying to find a tissue in my purse to wipe it off. She is yelling to me (today is the only time you get this special, I will not be here tomorrow lady). Later in the car my right eye starts to swell and then my left from where she had put some unknown cream on my face and I was having an allergy on both of my eyes to the creme she put on me. I told my husband I was going to write this review of my experience this past weekend and hope that someone will take notice and put a stop to this. Unless it stops I will start going someone else. You cant believe this is good for your shoppers to be violated in this way. It actually hurts the sales for stores that are meant to be there. Please, Please take notice of this problem and try to get it under control. I Thank you very much if you have taken the time to read this and even more I thank you if you take the necessary steps to investigate this problem in person and understand what Im trying to tell you and that this is not good for you mall.
Sincerely
Lady from Knoxville TN
