This tucked-away adventure can lend excitement to a drive outside of the metro Atlanta area. The oldest vineyard in Georgia, it has recently moved to a new location in the Nacoochee Village. Habersham produces more than 10,000 bottles annually under several labels, including Habersham Estates, Creekstone and Southern Harvest. There is no need to worry about choosing the wrong one: there are daily wine tastings, so you can pick your favorite right on the spot, whether it's a cabernet, chardonnay or reisling. While visiting, be sure to check out some of the nearby shops and services. There is also a gristmill still in operation, along with whitewater paddling and horseback riding.
