Housed in an old triangular building that forms the corner of Flat Shoals and Glenwood Avenues, this no-nonsense pub is a throwback to times when a bar was just that: a good place to get a drink. Rustic and proud of it, the Flatiron consists of a single room, which faces the roads that form the intersection at the door. A handsome bar is surrounded by numerous tables, and a generally quiet crowd gathers most evenings. The menu is limited to burgers, sandwiches and salads. Brunch is served on Sunday until 3:30p.
