Brick Store Pub
This no-nonsense Decatur bar is a throwback to the days when speakeasies were for drinking. Handsome and simple, the Brick Store is comprised, not surprisingly, mostly of brick. The crowd varies, but expect to find at least a spattering of the legal denizens of the Dekalb County Courthouse just across the way. Featuring local and imported draughts, single malt scotches, small batch bourbons and fine wines, you won't be at a loss for drinking options. A relatively standard bar menu is offered for lunch and dinner at reasonable prices.
I try to go to the Brick Store at least once a week! The beer selection is amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when trying to decide on the best beer for you. The food selection is amazing, not just pub food. If you go get the pierogi primavera, I have dreams about it.
The service - from the hostess to the waitress to the person that delivers food - ranged from mediocre to downright rude. The general attitude was that they were doing us a favor by being open and serving us. The place is so noisy you can't hear yourself think, and the food is just average. Nothing special about it. The beer selection is awesome, and that's about all this place has going for it.
This place has great selection of beers, including lots of imports on tap and more in bottles.
The waiter was very helpful in navigating the menus (food and beer) and he obviously enjoyed his job.
The food was OK--no complaints, but the extensive beer list is the reason I recommend going to the Brick Store Pub.
And it's easy to get to, even from downtown Atlanta: just hop on MARTA and it's right near the Decatur station.
When I have lunch meetings in Decatur or just want to hang out with friends, I insist on meeting at the Brick Store. Without exception I've been treated to great food, beer and incredibly friendly service. The atmosphere will make you feel like you're a part of a community.

Located in the stylish Oakhurst area in Decatur, Steinbeck's Oyster Bar satisfies your need for seafood and alcohol. Steaming platefuls
