A lively atmosphere pervades this enormous Marietta hotspot, from the margarita drinkers on the patio to the festive diners being serenaded by a four-piece Mariachi band inside. The house specialty is the steak and chicken fajita plate; you can either order for one, or else get it by the pound for sharing. Dozens of combination platters offer most traditional Mexican fare in invariably enormous portions. Try the fried ice cream to top off your meal, but be warned: it, too, is big enough to share.
My wife and i ate at pappasito's in Arlington,TX, she ordered the pappasito grill which she had ordered on previous occassions. It was not fixed the way the menu stated. The meat was filled with fat and was end pieces. To appease the situation the food manager sent out extra meat but it wasn't tasty and not prepared the way it had been in the past. the food manager said it had always been prepared that way and he should know as he had worked there 3 years. the manager is wrong in preparation and it was not the way the menu said. We got skirt meat and for $17 it was over-priced, we will not end there again. Unless you are rich and can throw away money I don't recomend.
This comment is coming from past experiences at Pappa's Restaraunts. I am from Houston, Tx. I just recently moved to Atlanta. I just recently went home to visit and my first stop was Papposito's on Kirby.
Living in atlanta, the one thing I miss the most is my friends and comfort foods. My girlfriends and I would always go to Pappasito's for Sunday brunch. And, I would find myself there during the work week, for lunch or dinner. Pappasito's has the best fajita's, queso, pollo, quail, shrimp, ribs....I can go on. I have had everything on the menu. The service is always outstanding. The margarita's always cold and yummy! It has always been a great experience. This location is quite aways from me but I already know, it will be worth the drive!

I loved it all around. I liked that it was noisy it reminded me of a real cantina, and the food is great, no crazy spins on your favorite dishes and great margaritas, but be sure and ask price before you order the drinks...a pitch er the texas gold margs was 40.00!!
I love the food. Have eaten here many times. My favorites are either the mixed grill or the stuffed shrimp. Pretty place, fun, casual atmosphere The only thing that I don't like about it is the noise level. Except in a side room it's very hard to talk. For this reason, I go there for the food but but somewhere else if I want to talk to my companions.
I have eaten Mexican food all over in the state of Georgia and I have never found a place that I even remotely cared for until Pappasito's Cantina. The atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. Probably the best dessert I have ever eaten. Highly recommended.
My wife called for a reservation twenty four hours in advance of the time we wanted to eat. We had a party of eighteen people. My wife and I arrived fifteen minutes early to confirm the reservation. A hour later half of the party was seated. Twenty minutes later the other half was seated at a separate table. Why did we bother to make a reservation?
