Wet 'n Wild
Amusement Business Magazine calls this Wet 'n Wild venue the nation's best-attended water park. With the variety of rides offered, it's no wonder. Adults love thrill rides such as Brain Wash and The Storm which are definitely not for the faint of heart. Children enjoy milder thrills at the Kids Park section like Bubble Up. The whole family can kick back on the Take It Easy offerings, including the mile-long Lazy River for tubing. Pools are heated in the winter.
This is definitely a tourist attraction. The water slides are awesome. I always tend to wait in line a little to long but its worth the wait. The main purpose is to get wet and get cool down from the hot sun. Safe with alert lifegaurds. There is alot of things to do just outside the park. Check it out.
i have to admit i love the disney waterparks but we brought the five park flex ticket and wet n wild was on it - i found it dirty and all it is is a ton of cement just with a couple of slides dont get me wrong they were good slides but do you really need all that cement i mean please!!!
the rides were cool they even had a lil' park for kids no extra cost. and if you don't like water slides there is a lazy river to hang in. and if you don't like water there are many plaaces for to sunbath and if you don't like sunbathing there is a many shops to shop in and if you don't like shopping there's an arcade and if you dont like arcades oh well
We had an awesome time! Rides were pretty fierce...some of them scared the pants off me but it was pretty fun! I like the plunge and the one where you're dropped out of like a bomb looking thing...but can we say WEDGIE
We had two great days at Wet and Wild lots of fun without the crowds.
Has a great surf shop.
Good reasonable food to.
Only downside the funnelcake shop was shut.
Hope to have one next year...
See you Feb 2007 Wet and Wild.
The Adams Family.all 7 of us.
IF YOU HAVE THE FLEXI-TICKETS GIVE IT A GO!
BUT WAS TOTALY OUT-SHONE BY THE DISNEY WATERPARKS.
THE WAVE MACHINE WAS GOOD, SOME OF THE WATER CHUTES WERE FUN BUT AS FOR THE LAZY TYPE RIVER HAD TO PAY FOR THE RINGS!!!
WAS STAYING ONLY JUST ACROSS THE ROAD FROM IT.
SO DIDN'T WASTE THE WHOLE DAY THERE!
BLIZARD BEACH/TYPHOON LAGOON WERE ONLY 20 MINS DOWN THE ROAD,AND WERE CERTAINLY WORTH THE TRAVELING TIME!
ALL IN ALL WORTH A VISIT!.....BUT TAKE SOME MONEY WITH YOU.
I enjoyed it very much. The Lazy River at Wet'n'Wild is the best. It have food courts and shop. So many swimmers crowd there during summer time for fun. It is so full of them! Wow! Many deaf people go there for Deaf Awareness Day in the celebration of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)'s anniversary. I am recommanding this to vacationing swimmers.
A little over priced.. Watch out for the wave pool to many people drown in it (Secretly) each year. Just be careful with your little ones.
Better to take them to the lazy river..
All in all not a bad place to spend the day.. I would go again (but only with coupons)...
