Sucks poor service all around
By CHRISTOPHER, 4/29/12
I went to Horse World with my wife and 7 year old daughter for the first time. I paid $150.00 for the three of use to ride 1hour. First off the trail itself was really bad and boring. Nothing peaceful about it when a highway with traffic was 300ft from the trail. They would not even let my daughter ride with my wife even thou she ways 50lbs and my wife is 113lbs. Thought that was weird when the guy riding behind us weighed at least 230lbs! sheesh Anyways half way in the trail my daughters horse started bucking up and down like a bull. My daughter flung off to the side of the horse. Her shirt got caught on the riding harness, which prevented her from falling to the ground and being stepped on by the angry horse. My daughter was screaming and crying and was very scared. The female guide jumped off her horse and got the horse under control. She called back to the office and advised what had just happened. They said to keep going. It was like they were worried about having to give a refund. At this time, I requested my daughter to ride with the wife. This requested was denied. WOW.... Back at the Office, I was not even approached or apologized for what had happened and the bad experience my daughter encountered. I was at least expected someone to talk to me about what happened. I was not even asking for my money back just an apology of some sort. So I decided to say something to the front desk girl, who spoke with a European accent. She was very rude and replied "that's why you sign a waiver." Really what kind of professional business is this. So I asked for management. She rolled her eyes and said they are not available. The only thing professional and kind here was my guide on the trail. Not worth the money. Trust me on this.

Fair and Fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/9/11
I would like to start off by saying I am very experienced with horses and have also worked at a Western Trails place before. The rule of no jackets, cameras, water, food etc is for your safety and the horses safety. If you drop your bottle of water, camera or jacket the horse is more than likely to spook, which can cause accidents. Once one horse freaks out, another one is sure to. These rules are to prevent accidents from happening so maybe appreciate the fact that they are trying to keep you safe. The trails are pleasant, the staff are friendly and you DO see wildlife. It isn't acted out. Animals don't plan when they run onto the trails. You can't assume you will see animals every time. The rides I have been on at Horse World have been fun. We saw Hogs, Snakes, Spiders, Deer and other small wildlife. Don't listen to these negative people. They are just bothered about the rules. You don't like the rules, then don't go. It's simple. The horses definitely do not do nose to tail. It's way more exciting than what some of these boring, pathetic, miserable critics have said. You will have fun so go :)

one word HORRID
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/3/11
The one fat short lady in office could not answer any of my horse related questions. I got I don't know . She told me hold on as she answered the phone she got mean and nasty with the person on the phone. I have no idea what it was about but heard her say she was the owner. Makes me think a owner of a horse riding place that doesn't know anything about horses. I did not ride but from the looks of the place and the way "the owner' treats people makes me glad we didn't ride. all I can think is poor horses.

Lots of fun. Healthy Horses. Nice Staff.
By VacationKing_11, 4/24/11
Went for a hour long guided horseback trail ride. Staff was very nice. Cost was $45 and that included everything. The horses were great. Very tame and clean. Trails were very well maintained as well. It was a great afternoon activity. I would do it again.

Wonderful...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/09
As overseas visitors I went on website info I booked and paid prior. Had my Mum 66yrs an Aunt in 50's who had never been on a horse and my 16 and 6 yr old daughters again never ridden. Although slow(we of course chose beginners) it was great... They don't tell you however that you cannot take ANY bags or cameras or anything on the ride for insurance reasons.. just think this could be mentioned on website.. however they were very accommodating in locking our stuff away... I was concerned about no lead for my 6 yr old daughter who is ADHD but horses were sooo good she was fine...

I go very frequently
By Cant_touch_this, 1/14/08
I must first say that I am a very frequent customer at Horse World Stables and I go as frequently as my schedule will allow me. For anyone who reads the reviews below, please note that all of them are consequently from people who live in Florida and are most likely competitors who are trying to discredit the business. I have ridden at pretty much all the riding stables that I could find in the Central Florida area and Horse World is by far the best experience and value that I can find. Their horses are in very good condition and are top of the line. They have a brand new web site and I had visited their old web site and the prices have always been the same so I don't know where people are getting the wrong price from. I can assure you that if you go there that you will have a pleasant time whether you are a family with small children or just adults looking for a thrill.

WONDERFUL
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/14/08
This was a wonderful place to ride. I have been riding for 7 years so I know what well taken care of horses look like, and these were in top condition. Our trail guide was a lovely young girl that knew how to calm the nerves of scared children and their parents. Sure, you ride close to Poinciana Blvd, but that is only for a short little bit. Once you're back in the woods for awhile, you completly foget you're in central Florida at all! I checked the time to see exactly how long the ride was, and for us, it was 58 minutes (cant get much closer than that!) The nature trail is most definitly for in experienced riders and young children, so if you're looking for a more fast passed ride, go for the intermediate, but I promise your butt will hurt!! Everyone that I was on the intermediate ride with absolutly loved it! I highly recommend this place to any animal lover. Dont take what the other reviews have to say for face value. As far as the pricing goes...yeah, its $47 plus tax, but believe me THATS A GREAT DEAL!!!!! But hey. dont take my word for it, go experience it for yourself!!!!!

Worst Rding Experience Ever !!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/9/08
I'm so disapointd with "Horse World Riding Stables" !!! It was by far the WORST trail ride and barn me and my husband ever been to !!! First: It's impossible to make a reservation, I called 5 days before we were planing on going to kissimmee !?? many times!! I left 3 messages and our phone calls were never returned !!! Oh wait... actually they did return them !!! lol.... the day we got back to ft lauderdale from our orlando/kissimmee vacation !!!!!! I guess those people had no Idea that we already took the ride a day before..haha. So we were unable to make a reservation for an advanced ride, so we decided to just show up. Bad idea !! The place has absolutely no atmosphaere !! Every single employee we met was ridiculesly rude ! Especially the lady in the office !! The trail guides are VERY uninformative !! The barns website should be updated, with information they dont tell you on there ! We paid way more money as they promised us, and will promise you ! Dont fall for it! ...as you can read at other peoples reviews ... and so much more !!! I AM DEFINETLY NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO OTHERS !!! My husband said, if "Horse World Riding Stables" was the first time he would been in contact with horses, or his first riding experience:he would never ride again !!!

Don't recommend it!
By Melinda, 1/6/07
We made a big mistake with the "walking" tour. My husband and I have limited experience but the tour bored us to tears. The trail ran right alongside major new housing construction. There is very little of visual interest and the horses were so slow that a two year old could have kept up walking alongside us. Perhaps this could be enjoyable for a 5 year old and their parent but not at all for adults. I was extremely disappointed and wish we had seen these reviews before we went. This was not worth our time nor or money. The staff were adequate, but had little to offer as a guided tour.
