Description

Par 58 Regular Tees: 3417 yards / Slope 82 This 1968 Joe Lee design is flat with fairways rimmed by pine trees. It's greens are quite small and elevated above the fairways. The rolling greens are also protected by a number of sand traps. Of the four par-4s, two measure 370 to 380 yards. The par-3s run from 108 to 188 yards. All things considered, this is a pleasant and well-thought-out executive course open to the public. Metal spikes are tolerated but not encouraged.

Snobby Golfers Stay Away
By ,
If you need a fancy course with all the frills don't come here. If you want to relax and not have to deal with obnoxious starters and marshalls and spend three hours away from the wife with a reasonbly challenging course this is great. I play every chance I can when I'm in Orlando. I've played there well over a dozen times and the stuff about the grass being too long is rubbish. The fairways aren't real wide but they are taken care of. The only issue is during the dead of summer when the grass on the greens takes a beating but its a cheap municiple course so again what do you expect.

Great time, great service, great buy!

Great for the price. I can practice my short game and play with my two grandsons for a very good price, with a cart. I've never seen an alligator there like the one reviewer has, I don't get lost any more because I play there often. My seven year old gradson loves it because it is manageable for him to get to the greens in a couple of shots. The 10 year old loves it 'cause he's getting so good he can make par most of the way, I get to enjoy their success for a very good price. So what if the grass is not in tip top shape in late July. I play there often and have only encountered a dog, or a jerk, that barks once. The clubhouse is always great and everyone that works there is always wonderful. It's a great local place. I highly recommend it. It's become one of our favorite golf outings.

The worst but cheap
By ,
Almost everytime that I play there, soemeone from one of the apartments yells and screams in attempt to hurt my game. The grass is either almost knee high or dirt. I don't think they own a lawnmower. I don't think they water the grass. It's not clear where the next hole is. Many times, there is no protection from the driving range. There is a net, but usually it's just laying on the ground. The driving range is not bad at all. The clubhouse is nice and the golf carts arent too bad. The course is innexpensive. But let me tell you, sometimes, price doesn't justify. I highly reccomend this course for anybody who is either a beginner, or someone who hasn't played in a very long time. It is a par 3 iron course, it's a practice course only. The golf pro is an excellent golf trainer, I highly reccomend him, his name is Danny.

bad course
By ,
I played this course friday july 9th and the club house was great looking and the attendent was very polite and helpful. The course itself was different. There were no signs pointing to the next hole so i got lost twice. The grass was not cut. It wasnt well maintened and there was an alligator in one of the ponds. I would never go or play there. But if your looking for a cheap place to just shoot golf balls then this is the place.
