Swiss Fairways, Clermont

It was my second time to play at the Swiss Fairways Golf Course. Last time I played was a year ago and I could notice some improvements over the golf course. New sand traps, better greens, less bushes around the lakes... The course is challenging but fun. Challenging because two or three holes are going over lakes but fun because it is hilly. It is also enjoyable to whatch the skiers skiing while playing on the part 5. I would recommend this goIf course to anyone for the price and the experience.

I have been going to swiss fairways for years but fathers day 09' was the worst. The clubhouse (trailer) staff "gator" would not give my father and I a cart to warm up on the driving range 1 hour before our tee time. We were told they might run out of carts yet there were about 30 carts charging right behind the trailer, we were told to drive our vehicle over to the range and just park somewhere. We were disgusted with the way we were treated and told "gator" we will not be returning after this visit. Spent our hour $7.50 hitting our bucket of balls while my vehicle was washed by the nice reclaimed course water (should have just parked on the practice green). Returned back to the clubhouse cooled off for 10 minutes and proceeded to the counter to start our round 5 mins before our reserved tee time. Gator tells us NO, you're not playing here you can go somewhere else. The course has gone downhill year after year and yet greens fees have remained the same and customer service is obviously non-existent. Make sure your cart is fully charged and dont bother raking traps or filling divots. Better yet avoid!!

Course has a good layout but needs a lot of work. The rates are very reasonable and they run a lot of coupons in the newspaper so they get very busy. 5 hour rounds are norm.
