The landing areas for tee shots are generous on the Cypresswood Golf & Country Club, designed in 1973 by Ron Garl. In many cases, the wide landing zones are bordered by houses. Wild tee shots can go out of bounds. A flat course with large greens, Cypresswood is difficult because of the trapping and the water hazards. From the Blue tees, the par-5s divide evenly, with two short ones and two that are long. The par-3s are roughly 160 yards from the White tees.
