i dont like it because its expensive and there isnt enought things such as entertainig things to pay a lot. i would like there to be more things like more things, storess in there and food poeple can get hungry while in there you know.
I went to the old spot that they had the titantic and can't wait to see what they have done in the new location. My daughter who is 10 loves this and was disappointed that they were closed last year, when we were here. Looking forward to this years visit.
I have been to "Titanic" 3 times now. I am in awe each time. I love the tour guides that are dressed as passengers. The artifacts from the ship are in great condition (considering where they came from). I have been to other "Titanic" displays and no others compare to the experience at "Titanic: Ship of Dreams".
Each time has been a more fun experience. My husband and I will continue to go there each time we are in Orlando.
I would definitely recommend this to any Titanic fan!
I was/am taken by the knowledge of the cast and crew and the care taken in displaying a dramatic piece of history. It is really easy to lose yourself in the lore of the subject. The concept they use for telling the story is truly unique. The displays and exhibits are very impressive in design and thoughtfulness. Exhibit changes for different seasons and they are thinking of adding another exhibit for the dives to the site. Definately recommend.
I have always been interested in Titanic, way before the movie was released. When I found out Titanic was in Orlando, I made my husband go with me. This was very amazing to me, the artifacts and replicas of the ship were amazing. When we reached the end, I made my husband turn around and go back to the begining.
The deck was chilling, the thought of what those people went through and feeling how cold it was that night made me cry. I did not want to leave the deck.
We will be returning to Titanic on 05/27/06. I cant wait.
I Loved it plan to go again. I went the first time with a friend while on a business trip, then made a special stop while on vacation with my family. My daughter is a big fan of the Titanic and i think she liked it more then me.
We recently heard that the Exhibit is moving back to I-Drive from the temporary exhibit at the Orlando Science Center. My family and I go there everytime we are in Orlando. We can't wait until the new one is opened!
I thought that this exhibit wouldnt be exactly like the movie... but it was. The movies soundtrack was playing everywhere, everything that you wanted to look at closer, you couldnt. The rooms that they led people through were tiny, and it seemed like they took the cheap way out with everything. Mirrors everywhere to make things look bigger, lights to make the illusion of water... I was deeply unimpressed.
The exhibit is great. You get to see many of the artifacts that were salvaged from the doomed cruiseliner. You see clothing, glasses, dinnerware, jewelry, etc. It gives you a look at the lives of the people during the time period as well as the feeling of sympathy as you ponder what is was like that faithful night. Also when you begin the tour you receive a slip of paper that resembles a passengers ticket, at the end of the tour there is large display of the names of passengers you you find your name and see if you lived or died.
