Description

WonderWorks bills itself as a museum "where science has gone crazy." While not as cerebral as some other area attractions, such as the Orlando Science Center, this attraction will amuse both children and adults and they can pick up some quirky scientific information along the way. This bright upside-down establishment offers more than 100 hands-on exhibits, including the Bridge of Fire walk-through, simulating the power of 250,000 watts of electricity, a Mystery Lab—in which water flows up, against the force of that pesky gravity and the Earthquake Experience simulation room. Visit for a quirky and educational experience.

Thumbs Up!
By ,
Great interactive activities. Laster tag and the ropes course were fantastic. Actually, the ropes course was pretty intimidating! The comedy show with Tony Brent was very entertaining! The dinner show comedy was great, but the food was mediocre. It is family style dining with strangers which is a little odd. It would be better with a group. The parking was expensive. It was a fun-filled afternoon/evening. Kind of expensive, but we bought it as a package. You can just go for laser tag if you want. There are more reviews on Hubpages if you want more info. If you are looking for an alternative to a Disney theme park, this is much less expensive and something very worthwhile to do once. I am not sure it would have the same appeal twice.

NEVER AGAIN - KEEP CLEAR
By ,
We went there in 2009 and thought it was good. Went back this year with th same high expectancies but very disappointed. Loads of things were broken. The entrance price was so expensive - what a waste of time and money. NEVER AGAIN, KEEP YOUR MONEY AND USE IT TOWARDS SOMETHING ELSE. I have sent two e-mails but haven't even received a reply. Overpriced Staff just having a chat

Very disappointed
By ,
I was here 2 years ago with my husband and daughter and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect place to go on a rainy day. We returned to Orlando last week with a group of 11 people and persuaded everyone to join us in visiting this fun spot again -- Unfortuantely, this time it was just a nightmare. Many of the "things to do" were broken or out of order. Every time we saw something fun, it was out of order. We paid way too much money to have just the arcade working, where you need to spend more money for coins. We really made this place look like one of the greatest spots in Orlando, and it was a true downer this time around. Do not waste your money!! For $25 per person, you can go somewhere else. Our friends looked at us like we were crazy for falling in love with this place....I can't blame them. Will never go back again!!!

we will never go back
By ,
It was mostly an arcade place than it was scientific and portrayed. While is was fun for my toddler, hence the 2 stars, first time going in after passing the first "obsticle" we had a problem fitting the stroller through the entrance and no one took knowledge of the stroller to indicate whether it will fit or not and while struggling, a worker standing about 6 feet away did not offer help or suggestions and just simply had looked over. Besides the small issue we encountered at the begining, overall, it was dissapointing for this place to be located in the tourist spot and to be part of vacation for visitors, it should be more like a local "arcade" place without fooling anyone with the whole upside down house adventure! The Orlando Science Center is not only BETTER but cheaper and I would have paid more there instead. Its also for all ages! Adults will enjoy it as much and actually "discover"!

It was okay I suppose....

I believe this is more for kids....or that extremely playful adult who likes this kind of stuff. Not really for me but I went with my daughter....For the price, I could have had a few adult drinks and enjoyed myself more.....

sign should read - Kids Only!
By ,
We had no idea it was a childrens attraction. We paid way too much only to find out this is an overpriced childrens arcade. There were a couple of moderately interesting exhibits but you had to fight the kids for them. No order in the place at all. Excited, out of control kids everywhere and boring old carnival contraptions. I wanted my money back but my wife wouldn't let me ask. Live and learn!

Loved It!
By ,
We went on June 27th. Our family had a great time. It is definitely a great place to take your kids to. My nine year old and six year old had a blast. So many hands on activities to experience. We were in there for over 2 hours and the kids didn't want to leave. We did NOT have any problems with broken displays like other reviews had said. I think the only thing I saw was one video machine that was out of order, but they had an identical one right next to it that was working. Too many fun and interesting things to list. I definitely would recommend other families to go. We went to the magic dinner show that they have there also. The guy was hilarious. Also, great for the kids. The pizza was okay. But, you could eat as much of it as you wanted. They served Bud and Bud Lite, not sure what brand the wine was, also you could drink as much as you wanted. The cake was dry...didn't finish that. All in all a great experience.

Not a lot for your money
By ,
This is a copy of the old Mistery Fun House of Orlando. You can finish this place in less that 30 minutes. Not worth the money.

Uhh

I went about 3 years ago and it was GREAT!!!!! But we came back a few weeks ago, and boy was it disipointing all the stuff we had done before was broke or out of order and it was loud and crouded on all the things that did work, they need a bigger place and to fix if up and make everthing work and they need to clean better because things were sticky...eww. Since the last time we were there it seems like they have lefty it the same and have not fixed anything and have not cleaned either! My advice, don't go.... Sea World and Epcot and Magic Kingdom is much better and you get what you pay for.
