Sky Venture, Orlando

Customer service sucked, didnt help us at all! No one tells you that you need a reservation or how long it takes. If u have plans after that cancel them. The airtime is ridicolus, the controller of the fan doesn't give u enough to get off of the great. The front desk girls are rude as well as the instructors.$125 for two people and two minutes it just crazy unless your a millionaire. Try the sling shot much better quality and A LOT less expensive. Also no air conditioner so prepare yourself to be soaked with sweat during and afterwards. A complete waste!!! Complete lies and a disdappointmemt!! Be advised

Skyventure has changed their name to iFLY Orlando and as of March 2010 they have been under new ownership and new management. The place is hands down a million times better than it was before! They have updated their look and the customer service is outstanding! You can see their great reviews on tripadvisor.com. They are currently ranked number 10 out of over 160 attractions in Central Florida, beating out a lot of the major theme parks such as Magic Kingdom and SeaWorld! Go check them out! It will be the coolest, most exciting thing you do in Orlando!

I do not recommend Skyventure Orlando to anyone. The customer service had to of been the worst I've ever had anywhere. One girl in particular was so rude we almost just walked out. She acted like she was to good for anything or anyone and treated us so bad. As if we should be honored to even be there! I felt like telling her to go get a real job! (Christy or Kristen?) I would def. say it is not worth the money. I would much rather put another 30 or so dollars in and go to one of the parks for the whole day instead of TRYING to fly for 2 min! We did not run into even one friendly employee. We visited there a little over 2 yrs. ago and wow what a difference! I couldn't wait to go again! But after this time around I have got to say I will never visit again. The last time we went I remember all the employees being so upbeat and outgoing and seemed to love their job! My son said I'm gonna work here! lol It was so cute. This time he was a bit upset to of given up half a day at one of the parks to waste it at Skyventure Orlando. :(

After some of the most extreme safety precautions I've ever seen, and considerable instruction, it was very short and I didn't get to do much other than go up and down a few feet. We were then treated to the sight of the instructor flying like a bird - way up, way down, all over the place! Then I saw the reason - another employee, in a little booth, the wind speed! I see no reason why the wind couldn't have been made faster for the rest of us... other than to get us interested in coming back, maybe many times. And so it was - someone in the group regularly drove up from West Palm Beach!! Perhaps they know their market, but it isn't for me - I felt manipulated, and although we had one further admission (we paid for two at the start), we never returned.

and you dont even get two full minutes. I was so disappointed. They let some regular skydiver in and he did all types of flips, but we just fell in holding the instructors had. You would need to pay for lessons to get any real enjoyment out of it.

SkyVenture is SO much fun. It is the closest you can get to skydiving! The staff is very friendly and explains everything you need to know! What an incredible experience. I don't think I could ever jump out of a plane so this was perfect for me! You should really try it! It is worth the price and you will never forget it! I can't wait to go back and do it again!

This place was great!! It's great fun for the whole family. They start you off by taking you to the "training" room, show you a video of sky divers, teach you hand signs used by real divers, and have you perform the moves and positions on a table. Then they take you to the dressing room, find a suit suitable for your body type (windbreaker jumpsuit), and you just gear up (includes a helmet, goggles, socks, sneakers, and earplugs, cuz the "wind" is loud). After that, they take you to the wind tunnel, then you just wait til it's your turn to "fly". The trainer will be in the tunnel with you (if you're a beginner, that is) and s/he'll give you the hand signals for you to perform while you're flying in the tunnel. The trick is to just stay calm and keep your chin up, otherwise, you'll sink to the bottom. Don't rush to be first in line, either. Trust me. The last person gets to be thrown/spun around by the trainer, and I guarentee you it's more fun than 10 roller coasters combined. After your group's session is done, you go back to the dressing area and you're awarded with a certificate with your name on it (you type your name into their comp and they print it out...HAHA). Have fun!

We were 5: 2 adults and 3 kids. With the video (you must order the video!) it came out to 235 USD! It's expensive for 2 minutes a persone inside the wind tunnel. For half the price we would go for 3 rounds. Still, it's a absolute MUST DO!
