Remington has all the trademark Lloyd Clifton design features. It stretches more than 7,000 yards from the Back tees; the fairways are comparatively open and there is an abundance of both sand and water. This rugged course has large greens that make ample targets from the fairway. You'll have a fight on your hands from the Back tees. The Middle and Forward tees are no picnic either. You may walk this course after4 pm. This is a semi-private golf course. Metal spikes are tolerated but not encouraged. There is a bar and grill on sight at the Remington Golf & Country Club, the club is also blessed with an excellent practice facility.

Super Friendly Course!
By Rock, 06/07/09
These folks have one of the most friendliest places around! The Staff was all great, the course was nice, and the all you can was great! We got Range balls when we came in, a Breakfast sandwich before we went out, a Hot dog and a Soda on the turn, and Lunch after our Round! We were happy and stuffed by the time the day was over! We even snuck out for 9 more after our lunch break! The Management does a great job keeping things going even when it was busy. I think they have made some really positive changes in the last few years.

Nice course

We just played Remington 3/6/08, it is a nice little course. Nice condition, Nice people. Old carts, no windshields, etc., they ran out of food for the lunch included golf deal. Overall, pretty good course with water. DC Boston, MA

Play All Day - NOT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/08
Just got back from Orlando and played Remington due to the 'play all day' pricing. We were very disappointed in that they dont' allow you to book your next tee time for the day until you finish your first round. We teed off at 8:08 and after a 4 1/2 hour round (it was slow, even at 8:00am) we were done at 12:30 - the next tee time they gave us was at 3:38! No way to get another 18 in before dark. The course was okay, the free range balls keep the natives from getting too restless but a poor value. Hunter's Creek is a much better deal, particularly if you want to play mucho golfo (we got 54 in easily).

Bad Experience....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/06
We had a group of 28 play Remington for a week the first week in March 2005. EVERY day reserved tee times were an hour+ late. EVERY day the round lasted 5:00 to 5:30 hours. EVERY day cart problems. EVERY day 4 to 5 group back up on 2ND Hole. Free food yes, quality..food counter at Walmart. Great for local seniors with lots of time on their hands. If you coming in from the North for a few days of golf...forget this place!

Find Another Course
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/05
Don't expect them to honor your reservation. It's a haphazardly managed organization. If you really want to get off on your teetime, bring some cash for the Starter.
