My husband and I just recently went to SeaWorld, we have not been there in about 5-6 years but before that we went yearly. Everything was pretty much the same except for the shows. The shows disappointed us very much. The Dolphin and Whale show was ok, there was way to much time spent on acrobatics and not enough of the dolphins like it used to be. I went to SeaWorld to see the excitement of the tricks with the animals and instead, watched people dive and twist in the air. Not that it wasn't interesting, I just don't care to see much of that at an animal park. The Shamu show was a major disappointment. I know that the trainer was killed and they wont get in the water with the whales but seriously, they could have made it so much more interesting, especially since it was only a 15 minute show. You pretty much just watch whales swim around a little, they splash you once or twice, do a jump a few times and then the rest of the time you sit and watch something on a big tv screen. Seriously if I wanted to watch stuff on tv I would have stayed home and put on the Discovery channel and would have seen the same stuff. My husband and I were bored very quickly of it. These shows used to be awesome, it's just to bad that they changed them around so much. On a good note, the Clyde & Seymore show was halarious and great fun! Everything else was really fun and interesting. It would be great to go with kids and we will not be going back until we have some.
