makes me wish there were NEGATIVE stars..

Disgusting.. Dirty.. Full of the trashiest people all around! Nasty, nasty nasty! Animals barely had any room to even swim. Gross food, gross people, grossly taken care of animals! The flamingos smelled insanely bad! Rides are very rickety and make creaking noises.. Universal is way more fun and no scary noises like everythings going to fall apart! HORRIBLE!

OK
By ,
My husband and I just recently went to SeaWorld, we have not been there in about 5-6 years but before that we went yearly. Everything was pretty much the same except for the shows. The shows disappointed us very much. The Dolphin and Whale show was ok, there was way to much time spent on acrobatics and not enough of the dolphins like it used to be. I went to SeaWorld to see the excitement of the tricks with the animals and instead, watched people dive and twist in the air. Not that it wasn't interesting, I just don't care to see much of that at an animal park. The Shamu show was a major disappointment. I know that the trainer was killed and they wont get in the water with the whales but seriously, they could have made it so much more interesting, especially since it was only a 15 minute show. You pretty much just watch whales swim around a little, they splash you once or twice, do a jump a few times and then the rest of the time you sit and watch something on a big tv screen. Seriously if I wanted to watch stuff on tv I would have stayed home and put on the Discovery channel and would have seen the same stuff. My husband and I were bored very quickly of it. These shows used to be awesome, it's just to bad that they changed them around so much. On a good note, the Clyde & Seymore show was halarious and great fun! Everything else was really fun and interesting. It would be great to go with kids and we will not be going back until we have some.

I could live here!
By ,
My wife and I visit Orlando, because of Sea World, every spring since 2008. Even though the trainers interaction with the Killer Whales was limited, the shows were off the charts "GOOD!" We took our 13 year old nephew with use in 2010 and he was over joyed with Sea World. If I lived close I would live at Sea World. It never gets old. We love Sea world.

Disappointing
By ,
We felt that we didn't get our money's worth at Sea World. Many rides were broken or inoperable, our picnic lunch was taken from us but not others. There are several other things to do there but they were all extra costs. It's poor value for the $ you spend - definitely not Disney! Marineland in Ontario is far superior!

Awesome Time
By ,
I took 4 grandchildren age 5, 7 .12 & 13.They loved Sea World. We went at night to Shamu Rocks and then the fireworks right after. Fantastic. We also went the next morning to the show Blue Horizons and Pets Ahoy (which was airconditioned). petted the Stringrays. We watched for the lines to go down to about 25 min. waits on the rides. We avoided all the extra pay things.(way to many of those) We bought a large cup of pop for $9.00 and could refill it each day as much as we wanted for $1.00 each time, at either park. We bought the two park combination pass for length of stay. We printed it out at home 5 days in advance for a savings of adult ticket for childs price. Spent three days at aquatica water park. Got there early 8:30 or 9:00 and got a chair with umbrella across from the Childrens play area (walk about waters) and next to the family rapids. The lazy river with the fish was another favorite. It didn't get crowded for a couple hours. We carried in plastic bottles of water and small snack packs and our own beach towel. Couldn't have had a better time. We didn't rent a locker but if you want to, go to the lockers farther into the park by the childrens Walk about play area. No wait there and also has a large restroom (airconditioned) next to the lockers. We didn't buy the buffet. That would be good if you were staying all day and had a couple of meals. Just passed the Childrens Walkabout play area is another food place that has pizza (very good) for $6 or $7 and kids bucket of chicken and fries (lots of fries) and a drink for $7. We will go back again.

Pay lockers????? Yuck
By ,
Sea World was nice and ejoyed most of it. However, on the rides you could not have loose articles, hats, purses bags etc. I can understand that, they have lockers for your use,,,, at 50 cents each. A person pays enough to get in I see no need to charge extra for use of a locker just to be able to get onto a ride. Universal has the same rules, has lockers FREE of charge.

Very Disappointed!
By ,
My family goes to Seaworld every 2 years. We loved the manta but everything else failed in comparison. The newowners need to get a grip on what is actually happening! Food is way over priced, kiddie area was half way working, way to many shops/food stands close too early, the wholw family could see a difference since last trip!!!!!!

Operated Like A County Fair
By ,
My family and I attended Sea World 6/21/10. The booths to the parking lot were a mess. Getting in to the park was slow. Like Universal they require loose items to be stored in lockers except Universal doesn't charge everytime to use the locker. I really hate when I go on vacation and spend thousands of dollars and get nickeled and dimed to death. Most employees I talked to seemed more interested in their lunch break. I'm not difficult to please at all but when compared to Disney's outstanding customer service and Universal's always eager to talk about their park it is clear the Blackstone Group is running this park into the ground. Basically the park has 3 major rides and the rest are observations for the most part. It was nice to see Shamu (I Believe) but like the other shows it was very campy/corny like Six Flags. I would not have paid $640 for my family to go to Sea World alone but there was a deal for FL/GA residents that included Aquatica (Sea World's waterpark). Huge mistake on this waterpark. I called as well as another family member hours to 20 minutes before we arrived at the waterpark to make sure it was not full. The Sea World rep said it never fills up and the park was half empty. We arrived to the park with a parking attendant saying to come back at 4PM and the place closes promptly at 8PM. Obviously I had to explain this to 4 young anxious then immediately upset children while trying to find something to do for several hours. I called Aquatica customer service and spoke to Pedro who said he does not have an employee ID. The lack of an employee ID shows a serious lack of accountability which showed in the conversation with Pedro who tried to convince me that I shouldn't be upset which was insulting. So no refund, compensation for hours lost in the park, and hours wasted trying to find something else to do was topped off by the "don't know, don't care" insult. No need to cut off the nose to spite the face so we went back to the park at 4 trying to put on a smile and make the best of it. All of the parking booths were backed up and moved at a snails pace. The parking attendants were pointless as they seemed to just direct cars down lanes that were already full which then chaos ensued as impatient people started driving all over the lots out of turn fighting for a spot. I could go on and on about the careless nature of the "water team" lifeguards who kind of sort of watched the end of the slide then gave a whatever kind of nod to go even though clearly it didn't match the green/red light system that was supposed to take place. We headed to the chaotic play area which has multiple exits and a nightmare for parents who actually care where there children are. Aquatica then had to shut this area down when some disgusting person let their child play in it without a diaper and of course deficated in the water. I'm from Georgia and I remember the Ecoli outbreak from White Water Park in which dozens of children were hospitalized due to this very thing. I am in no way affiliated with other theme parks and have never before written a review on anything but was very disappointed what an investment group has turned a child hood memory of mine into.
