We went back for a second day!
By ,
On our trip to Orlando we visited three different parks (Disney, Seaworld, and Universal,) and our whole family agreed that Seaworld was by far the best. Seaworld has something that all ages will enjoy. The shows are awesome, but Blue Horizons was by far the best. You must see it! There are dolphins, whales, acrobats, divers, and birds flying into the audience. It's beautiful and exciting. The Shamu show is also beautiful. If you want to cool off, sit in the splash zone up font. There are usually seats available there unless the park is super crowded. You will definitley get wet! Get to the shows 15-30 minutes early to get a good seat. The Pets Ahoy show is super cute! All the cats and dogs in the show are rescued from shelters. The Sea lion & Otter show is funny, especially for younger kids. They have a huge, crazy roller coaster and some other rides. If you're looking to interact with the animals, you can pet the stingrays anytime, and buy food for them as well. You can feed the sea lions and seals as well, but can't get as close to them. The Dolphin feeding is a must do! For $7 a person, you get a tray with 4 fish. You can feed and pet the dolphins while a photographer takes pictures of you. Of course, you have to buy the photos, but it's a memorable experience with or without them. At the garden, they have animal interactions ever half hour. We got to pet a skunk and some baby macaws. Food at Seaworld can be expensive, but it was mostly cheaper than Disney and Universal. Some of the food includes nachos, chicken, pizza, and turkey legs. Our favorite place to eat was Seaport Pizza. You should definitley bring your own water bottles into the park. We got a second day at Seaworld for free. I'm not sure if this was just a special deal for our tickets, or what. We bought the tickets through Triple A and got a free meal. Both days we went, it wasn't terribly crowded. If you like animals, than Seaworld is the park for you. There's something for the whole family! I realize some people disagree with keeping animals in captivity, but the animals at Seaworld seem generally healthy. All the trainers really love the animals and care a lot about them. Seaworld doesn't give out lids or straws for the safety of their animals. They also use a lot of the money they make to rescue animals, and educate people about the environment.

Overall, A Great Park
By ,
My sons (18/16) and I visited during the Christmas Break and had a very enjoyable time at Seaworld (couldn't say the same for Universal). It was VERY crowded the day we were there, but crowd control was well done by the park and with there being so many shows and exhibits, that in itself helps make the crowds more managable. All fo the shows/exhibits were wonderful and the rides were fun as well. The guest services people were very nice and helpful. Their souviner cup deal is a very good value. There's only one quality, affordable, sit-down type restaurant at the park. It's an italian-style buffet restaurant near the clydsdale horses area, and it was very good. It's a lot like Cici's. For $11.99, all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, desert pizza, and soda. For a theme park, it was a great value. They did have the "Express Pass" deal you have to pay big $$ for (a la Universal), which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. DON'T GET IT!! HUGE rip-off. SW does so well on its own, it doesn't need to take such a poor-taste idea from Universal. Too, it's really not nessisary. It's only good for the 3 rides they have and if you time your visits to those rides with the area show times, waits for the rides aren't bad. All in all, a wonderful park that I'd highly recomment.

HORRIBLE...SAVE YOUR MONEY
By ,
DO NOT PAY FOR THE SEA LION TOUR. I would give it no stars, but that was not an option. Save your money because you will not be up-close with a sea lion like the title and the picture suggest. First, you go to Pacific Point Preserve and they tell you the difference between a sea lion and a seal; which can be read on the signs around the exhibit. Next, you go to where the “Clyde & Seamore” show takes place. You are asked to sit in the first two rows and then are quickly taken up to the tank, a group at the time to have your picture quickly taken. You are not allow to look at the sea lion (you keep your back towards him) and have to take a large step forward before you can walk back to your seats. Then you head back to Pacific Point Preserve where you are given a bucket of fish to feed them with everyone else. Just save your money and get to the show early to sit in the first two rows and spend $20 and get five trays of fish to feed the seals/sea lions at Pacific Point Preserve.

The Best show Unbelievable Talent
By ,
We became Season Pass holders this fall (2011). We had inquired about Christmas ornaments in Oct and told after Thanksgiving, Seaworld would have a supply. Then I get a card in mail, telling of free ornament, so we went Friday 12/16/11. We checked out the online schedule (weekends till 11 pm following fireworks. We saw all the Special Christmas shows 5 in all and they brought tears to my eyes. FANTASTIC talent, well produced and You cant beat SEAWORLD FOR THE DOLLAR. Discounts on foods, free parking with annual pass, free ornaments and the ambience was just UNBELIEVABLE. You MUST visit during the holiday season and make sure you go when they have their holidays season events. DISNEY AND UNIVERSAL DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE, AND ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. WE FELT LIKE WE WERE HOME. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.............REALLY PUTS YOU IN THE SPIRIT.

No Customer Service - Still No Reply to Complaint
By ,
Do think about going if you want a happy place to visit where staff want to work tehre and are happy to deal with comments/complaints. It started well with a welsome at the car park entrance where we were advised that fast passes were $19.95each - excellent value so we went to buy them for the three who were to go on the rides. When purchasing nothing was ever mentioned again about the price until we were presented with a credit card payment receipt for $29.95 each. Rides were closed, and no one would address our complaint about the lack of clear pricing. No supervisor would come to speak with us initially and when one did they slammed around the building and tutted at us for disturbing their day (or perhaps sleep). I wrote a complained by writing on a sheet that day, and have emailed numerous times since. Phoned them once and was advised that I would get a response. Still nothing - poor ownership of the customer experience. Purchased by the people who own Alton Towers and staff are not happy with the new regime (and it is a dictatorship - form filling and rules to follow to the letter). PLEASE RESPOND TO COMPLAINTS OR SELL BACK TO SOMEONE WHO CARES!!!!!!!

We had a Great Time
By ,
I read the reviews before going but decided to give it a try anyways. We absolutly loved it. The shows were very entertaining. The kids liked the Elmo and Friends show. The Whale show was very good. Clyde and Seymore was hilarious. The rides were also great with no long Disney and Universal wait times. We did the two parks deal with Aquatica and was the best money we spent on our whole trip. The waterpark is a must if your taking children. We will be going back next year to see the new Shamu show.

Non functioning Sea World April 6, 2011!!!!!
By ,
My family and I drove from Missouri here for the sole purpose to visit your park. However when we arrived almost the entire park was non functioning. All the attractions were closed. Most shops had no electricity. After waiting 3 hours and hearing other visitors complain, we decided to lodge a complaint with the guest office. The line of visitors (of whom I'm sure were complaining too) was very long. So we left the park and decided to contact you online. Also my sister was with us, who has never seen Sea World and was extremely upset. What do you intend to do about this? VERY UPSET VISITOR!!!!
