We went back for a second day!
On our trip to Orlando we visited three different parks (Disney, Seaworld, and Universal,) and our whole family agreed that Seaworld was by far the best. Seaworld has something that all ages will enjoy. The shows are awesome, but Blue Horizons was by far the best. You must see it! There are dolphins, whales, acrobats, divers, and birds flying into the audience. It's beautiful and exciting. The Shamu show is also beautiful. If you want to cool off, sit in the splash zone up font. There are usually seats available there unless the park is super crowded. You will definitley get wet! Get to the shows 15-30 minutes early to get a good seat. The Pets Ahoy show is super cute! All the cats and dogs in the show are rescued from shelters. The Sea lion & Otter show is funny, especially for younger kids.
They have a huge, crazy roller coaster and some other rides. If you're looking to interact with the animals, you can pet the stingrays anytime, and buy food for them as well. You can feed the sea lions and seals as well, but can't get as close to them. The Dolphin feeding is a must do! For $7 a person, you get a tray with 4 fish. You can feed and pet the dolphins while a photographer takes pictures of you. Of course, you have to buy the photos, but it's a memorable experience with or without them. At the garden, they have animal interactions ever half hour. We got to pet a skunk and some baby macaws.
Food at Seaworld can be expensive, but it was mostly cheaper than Disney and Universal. Some of the food includes nachos, chicken, pizza, and turkey legs. Our favorite place to eat was Seaport Pizza. You should definitley bring your own water bottles into the park.
We got a second day at Seaworld for free. I'm not sure if this was just a special deal for our tickets, or what. We bought the tickets through Triple A and got a free meal. Both days we went, it wasn't terribly crowded.
If you like animals, than Seaworld is the park for you. There's something for the whole family! I realize some people disagree with keeping animals in captivity, but the animals at Seaworld seem generally healthy. All the trainers really love the animals and care a lot about them. Seaworld doesn't give out lids or straws for the safety of their animals. They also use a lot of the money they make to rescue animals, and educate people about the environment.
