Winter Pines Golf Course, Winter Park

It used to be fun. At some point the group that plays early in the morning have taken over the placed. Even if they only have 2 or 3 players they will not allowed singles to joint in. This behavior has got a lot worse over the last year.To make things worse the staff will allowed them to get away with it. So if you are a single player unless you are willing to wait around for at least an hour while groups of less than four are passing you by all morning save yourself the aggravation. I't not worth it!

Very bussy place. Plan on an 5 hr round. Good place to work on your game without spending a lot of $$$ Course is keep is above Ave shape year round

This place is in wonderful shape considering the price and the amount of play they take in each day. Very enjoyable because it isn't too difficult and there are a lot of birdie holes.

Winter Pines is one of the best values in golf. The course is always in great shape. It is not the most challenging of layouts or lengths, but it is golf at a great price. Typically play is slow because the course is popular but if you know that going in, then you're prepared to deal with it. Should you get a fast round in - and that does happen - then you'll enjoy it that much more. Once I'm on the course, things move along nicely. For the average golfer, this is the kind of course we should be playing. For the low handicapper, you're going to have one of your lowest scores ever. The staff at Winter Pines is laid back and helpful. They make golfers of all levels feel welcome.

Golfers on top of each other. At one point, 8 carts, 16 players were at the same tee. We were in the middle of the cart caravan. It was almost dark, we went back and played the first 9 again. (or tryed) We only got 12 holes in 5 hours. Ranger's rude. Inside staff rude. Only time I played there.

Can't beat the price. For the amount of play the course gets they keep it in really good condition. After noon it gets cheaper, but even more busy. The later you play the longer it will take you to finish the round. You're better off trying to play early. Also, they are very adaptable if you show up as a single. They fit you with a group fairly quickly. They could use a beer cart though that is why the atmosphere only gets 4 value.

This course is hands down the best value for the money in North America.Tricky shorter course in great condition costs 24 bucks in high season and that includes a cart. Dave

I have lived in the area and played this course for years. It is always in very good shape and the greens fees are very reasonable. Prices in the 19th hole also very good. Pace of play is unbelievably slow. If you play here I reccomend walking as it tends to keep you from stacking up too bad. It is an older course and the layout is good for walking.

right off the First tee the range guy started yelling at us and didn't stop after 9 holes he folowed us around like we did something wronf

I enjoy playing out there, especially after work. And for the money, you cant beat it! Sure, it takes awhile to play, but grab a ice cold sixer from the bar and just chilllllllllllllll..........................
