Love a good scare? Wish Halloween lasted all year? Visit this two-story haunted castle for a shot of terror. Live (or at least undead) actors will greet you at every turn, doing their best to scare the wits out of you. You'll also find dark, creaky passageways, high-tech special effects, dank fog and mind-bending strobe lighting. This scary spot is recommended for adults and children over age eight.
I'm reading reviews that say this attraction wouldn't even scare a child. Those people probably wouldn't be scared of the devil himself. I went with my parents along with another family and we had to huddle together, literally moving inch by inch at a time through the house. Maybe I was just scared because it featured bloody doll parts glued all over the walls, a psycho surgeon grabbing me, and a chainsaw killer chasing me (I am not making that up, it really happened!). It was like a nightmare or horror movie scene come to life, only you're having fun! I'm also reading reviews that people got ripped off, so I guess buying tickets at the door would be best. That's what we did and we had fun.
My husband dragged me into Skull Kingdom, knowing i am the ultimate scardy cat! Once the actors had started to freak me out the anticipation took hold there was no going back. It got to the point even the actors were reminding me to BREATHE!
The atmosphere was great and the scary people in the show were fun and really into it. My fiance and I were guided through most of the house but when our guide suddenly left us it got a lot worse. The whole time was great and would recommend this to anyone visiting orlando anytime of the year.
We visited Skull Kingdom one night after a fairly disappointing trip to the Pirates Dinner Show and i have to say it made up for a pretty disappointing evening!
From the minute the 4 of us went in we were terrified and trying to push each other to the front of our party!
In fact it was so scary only two of our party made it to the end and i'm sad to say i wasn't one of the two. Two of us bailed out half way through down a fire exit! But hopefully i will be back next year ad wil make it to the end!
This place is right next to the hotel that we stayed at (Studio City) and we were on our way back from Sleuth's Dinner Theater, and decided to check out Skull Kingdom. We made it just in time for the last "tour". Maybe it was because it was the last run of the night, maybe it was because we were silly and "offended" the tour-guide, maybe because I was so scared that he wanted to "give it to us good", maybe it was all of those things, but whatever it was, it was FANTASTIC!!!!! And it was cheap!! Well worth it. What made it so scary was we had to find our own way and the "killers" really followed you with real knives and machetes. They were literally "up close and personal". They definitely violated the "3 feet social distance" rule, but it was so much fun. Scary and fun!! You have got to try this out!!!!
We visited Skull Kingdom on 9-24-06. This is place is a joke. Save your money. This place should be closed it is so bad. Only one other car in the parking lot,the locals do not keep this place in business. They know better. So,if you are visiting Orlando,be sure not to visit.
we visited in April 2005 and let me tell you we are going back to Florida in 3 weeks and will not waste our money this time. There was only one employee and it is far from scarry. Grose yes but not scarey there are better scares here in Niagara Falls. It was a joke my 6 year old came out laughing. The guide basically told us what to expect as we turned every corner. I would love to see this place shut down.
i read reviews prior to going to skull kingdom...the reviews were bad and i was turned off.i decided to go to skull kingdom just for laughs.LET ME JUST SAY IT WUZ REALLY FRIGHTENING.my eyes were closed most of the time after i got scared by the clown and peed my pants on the trampoline floor(sorry cleanup people lol)and were u go through the bags was just really scary cuz it felt lyk i was surrounded..i will visit skull kingdom again sometime in the future
