Dubsdread Golf Course, Orlando

We played Dubsdread in July and in October and the pace of play wasn't the best....took us 4.5 to 4.75 hours, but we played again in January 3 times and finished under 4 hours twice and 4.25 the third time. There is still a lot of play on the course, but we noticed a lot more attention from staff. Hope they keep it up! We may join in February.... DUBS FAN

The renovations on this course are terrific. Nice layout. But the pace of play will keep me from coming back. Have played 5 times since the re-opening and each time was brutal as to pace. Waited literally on every shot on every hole during every round. Done playing here. It's a shame that they can't range it better.

I thoroughly enjoyed the renovated course. Great greens and fairways. Challenging holes. But, I will not play the course again until renovations are made to staff decision-making -- there were entirely too many golfers on the course, inefficient ranger oversight, and, as a result, the round took 5.75 hours -- unacceptable for a non-weekend round of golf.

Dubs is a good city course that gets a lot of play. However, the greens have always been between mediocre and terrible. I wish they could generate some additional revenue and spend it on caring for the greens.

Enjoyed playing in Dec. '05. Overall, the course was in good shape. Not a long course, but challenging nevertheless. We had to avoid some road construction, but it did not effect play.

Well thought out as most courses were in the twenties. Ample landing areas with potentially severe pin postitions provide for risk and reward shot making into tiny greens.s Short par fives with small greens that defend themselves by sloping a way make the hit and find it player irrelevant. Harden the greens and put em at an 11 on the Stimp-Meter and you have a shot makers course. Dry out the fairways and watch the modern player struggle form the trees. Fun track.
