Description

Part of what is now an impressive array of nightlife opportunities at Universal Studios, The Groove gets groovin' with five themed rooms designed to appeal to the widest possible variety of party animals. Dance areas represent various historic musical eras ranging from a vaudeville stage to a roaring 20s dancehall, a 1960s rock 'n roll haven, a disco and a high-tech futuristic scene. Specialty drinks are offered in each area, and live bands are often on the bill. With these and several quiet areas tucked away in this big complex, this spot can appeal to everyone, from those who want to party to those who just want to kick back for a quiet drink and keep their options open.

well it was my birthday and they were havin teen nite the atmosphere was soo jammin the music soo intense , it was a wonderful night, it was bigger than any night club i went to!!!!

it's time for a change

with all the music in the world today house,trance, hypnotic,progressive... i could go on & on. why isn't the dj up on what's hot and happening out in the world of music. that he had to play billie jean in such a hot and happening place at universal studios. i feel the groove needs a new dj that knows where it's happening new and hot. please change!!!!

For the Youngins!

The Groove was an exceptional place. EXCEPT for the fact there needs ot be more TEEN NIGHTS. my youngers need to be getting out of the house more often, and getting their "groove" on, like the club has stated. So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make more teen nights for teh youngers,because remember when we were young? and we wanted to something to do on a friday, without a fake I.D.? Sincerelny, Always for the youngsters

Horrible Experience

I was denied entrance into The Groove even after showing proper ID and I am 30 years old. Way over their 21 year old age limit. I requested an explanation on how a doorman can simply refuse entry into a club, that is not private member or exclusive to a certain group, without basis. Steven, the doorman, had, it seems, already made up his mind that he would not allow me entrance into the club based on some other personal issue unrelated to my age or ID.
