Stardust Video & Coffee, Winter Park

Stardust used to be a welcome spot in its early years, but the staff for the past couple of years has been a true put-off. I actually loathe going there now because of the staff. Most of them (at least the girls at the counter) act very elitist. Especially the one who wears the tiny shorts; she has never ever been friendly to anyone but people she knows, not even a smile. Just hands you your order and then looks past you to the next person in line. It's a shame because Stardust, in its baby stages years ago used to have the feel of a real and warm independent coffeehouse.

Stardust is a disaster. However, I'd say most of the problem is stemmed from their staff. Most independent coffeehouses take pride in being friendly or welcoming. They actually acknowledge when someone walks through their doors to support them as opposed to the Starbucks around the corner. Stardust does not. At Stardust you wait in a line of 5 people for 30 minutes, give your order to a snooty ditz with the attention span of a pea and wait another 30 minutes for a coffee. I should have gone to StarBUCKS.
