Dan Marino's Town Tavern
Launched by legendary Miami Dolphin football quarterback Dan Marino, this restaurant is an upscale, gentlemanly version of a sports eatery. Naturally, after investing a lifetime in football games, Marino would not have a sports-free restaurant, so you'll find televisions airing all the games. You'll also find lots of polished hardwood and a sports-and-family crowd that knows how to behave itself. Appetizers come in large portions and include a Chicken Quesadilla and Barbecue Salmon. Meats top the list of favorite entrees and range from Delmonico Steak to the restaurant's special meatloaf. A menu is available for children. There's also a full bar here.
The best meal in florida easily the staff the food brilliant!!We always go to orlando in november but this year it was closed for refurbishment. Will go back in november 2007 its worth the air fare alone..........
Every year we travel to Florida and we always go back to Marino's Tavern. The staff is great, the food is excellent, the portions are filling and it is not any more overpriced than the other restaurants on International Blvd. They are very accomodating to my small children. Will continue to visit when we return.
I was disappointed to arrive in Orlando and have the restaurant down for remodeling. Just came back from Las Vegas and ate at Dan's in the new Hooters Casino. It was as great as his other locations. Can't wait for the Orlando location to reopen.
My wife and I have frequented Marino's since it opened. We have enjoyed the food and service as each meal has always been above par and served with efficiency in a friendly manner.
Ask Phillip for a meatloaf sundae and get a tasty surprise!
No muss no fuss, just a darn good restaurant with ample food and drink.
Took a group of 15 during a large convention and was very surprised with the great food and service. Seating was tough as it always is with a large group but the staff tried hard to over come it. Very loud, so not great for business networking but the food really made up for it. Try the nut encrusted mahi and save room for dessert. Every meal came out just as ordered and was priced good. All around great!
