Tropical Park, Miami

If you're a tourist, Tropical Park is not for you. It is a refreshing spot in the middle of the city where the locals go with their families, or alone for that matter, to relax & decompress from the strains and stresses of life. I love to go there to unwind and read a good book, sitting by one of the lakes while enjoying the natural surroundings. When my kids were younger I would take them every weekend. Had many a birthday party there too! When I used to run, Tropical Park is where I would be. The jogging trails are great for seasoned runners but if you are a beginner, you can cut the length short by using one of the alternate paths. Overall, Tropical Park is a little bit of paradise within the city boundaries.

This is an excellent park to go to. It includes a shooting range, lake, kite flying, walking your dog, and pathways. Nice view. Very fun for family activities.

I love when they have Santas Enchanted Forest. its a great area and attraction mostly a great park its very great in size so that young children can ride bicycles and play in the playgrounds, and I also cant wait to go back next year for santas enchanted forest

great for doing kids birthdays.... also great for going to play sports, there are long paths for skating, biking, walking, theres a hill to climb , and from novemeber to january theres santas enchanted forest the largest christmas theme park.... tropical park is like the best park in miami and above all its a safe place

I'm going back for labor day on 8/03/07. I can't wait lol! Tropical is the best park in Miami, FL. Where u can plan birthday paries or anything lol.........Seriously their isn't anything i dislike. =)

not for tourism... but is a fun place to play sports. great for people of all ages. great place to get fresh air. a family park. well worth it.

I don't like the fact that they don't allow you to walk your dog in the park. I had a small dog on a leash and they asked me to leave. I don't think the scenery is all that good either.

Well alot of firsts, learned to ride a bike, saw a mexican pinata, has a hill that isnt a landfill, dosen't cost a penny (unless u want a shelter for a party or if u want to play raquetball or baseball or eat or rent bikes or rent or boats)

cheer football its the best thing your chrildren could have fun doing i like u will like it it is a fun experiance visit mondays trough fridays

This Park is one of the best Park in Miami, very clean and safe. This Park offers many activities for adults and children ie. Barbecue area, baseball field, tennis, biking etc
