Crandon Park Beach, Key Biscayne

Crandon Park Beach was easy to get to but after paying $5.00 to park,the beach was so NOT worth the trip. This was my first time there and wasn't able to have my Dad walk very far down the beach. The beach was littered with garbage and I mean GARBAGE. The water was filthy and there was garbage in the water too. I'm talking soda cans,beer cans. Disgusting. This is one beach I will definitely not recommend and wil NOT be visiting ever again.

The Crandon Park naturalist staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I went on a lovely Kayak & Snorkel trip. As a was preparing to go on my excursion I picked up some of EcoAdventures publications and found out that there is so much more they offer, like bike tours, canoe tours, sunset & moonlight kayak trips, boat trips to the Half Moon shipwreck site which includes snorkel time, sea turtle hatchling release programs, school and scout programs as well as summer camp programs, nature walks, tram tours. kayak rentals, snorkel gear rentals, and of course who can forget the amazing kayak & snorkel trip to 1 of 2 fossilized reefs in the world. I definetly recommend these naturalist-guided programs to anyone and everyone that is looking to have a day a the beach and enjoy the natural world.

Nothing! It was a great experiance for tourists! The kids love the water and I loved the sun! I'll be coming back every year for it!

We really enjoyed visiting this park and the clear and quiet waters that make me think about Naples' beaches ... you know, white sand, clear light blue water ... Being there one holiday we decided to celebrate my daughter birthday there ... everyone enjoyed so much the beach and the barbecue. Usually, bathroom facilities are clean. People are nice ... I highly recommend visiting this park ...
