Only Go if you're Really Old
By ,
They freak out if you go 1 mph over the speed limit (which is 5). The staff is really anal. They treat you like a common creminal when you're just there to have a good time. They're constantly looking for something to harp on you about. The grounds are really nice, though. It's a little expensive & it seems like they want to nickel & dime you for everything.

Winter SnowBird Heaven

Lots of activities, friendly staff, very nice campground, great pool, clubhouse and facilities. Clubhouse staff go out of the way to help you with campground and local information. Several of the campers had some problems with another guest making noise at quiet times, drinking and using bad language, and generally creating a disturbance. The staff took corrective action each time there was a problem. Too many times the rest of us that are considerate of others, usually have it endure someone that has no consideration for others and think that the rules don't apply to them. It was nice to see that the resort enforces the rules. They no doubt understand the valve of keeping ten guests happy at the expense of one that wants to ruin others experience. They get ten points for staying on top of things. I've visited there several times and recomend it to anyone. Most recent visit, Feb. 2009 A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Everglades camping at it's best
By ,
We had a great time. I love the Pool it's very big and round. The campground is set in an everglades area, so we really experienced Natural Florida. Lot's of nearby attractions too. this is not a beach campground. It's very Everglades! different and a nice change. try it!

BE CAREFUL
By ,
Would never stay here again. We travel all over the Untied States my husband works all over. We went through all the RV parks choose carefully which one we would be staying in southern Florida at. Made a resrevation paid a depost and told them what kind of trailer we had they said ok. We pulled in after a 14 hour trip in our 42 ft trailer to get there. Walked into the office was told we had to leave the park. Our trailer was to big didnt meet there standards. We were shocked it is not easy pulling a trailer around looking for a new Rv lot. They rude and said sorry for your luck dont know where to tell you to go but you have to leave. We had other people with us who had pulled in a few days before us they said somebody ahd pulled into our super site they we had reserved. I beleive that somebody who had camped there before came and they gave away our lot. It is pretty bad when you do that to a paying customer. SO BE VERY CAREFUL IF PLAN ON STAYING HERE YOU MAY NOT MEET THERE STANDARDS REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! you really need to do something about your staff also very rude.
