Gilbert's Bakery, Miami

Gilbert's is an amazing bakery. IT is truly a cuban bakery with a splash of all of tha other ethniticities. They make sure that your order is fully accomplished and they made sure that I was satisfied. The experience was fun because i saw all of the confections available to me and they were all well presented and as you might usually expect with a bakery the presentation is not at good as they show but this bakery proved you wrong. The presentation in the show room is the same as the presentation that they giv to you. I would certainly recommend this bakery to others because it is worth it. It is wirth the time and money because its cheaper than other bakerys and the taste is bettyer than all of the other bakerys so its a win win situation.

Gilbert's bakery was where all my birthdays as a child were done at. I visit Gilbert's for breakfast on my way to work for a cortadito and a pastelito de guayaba. I did that for 10 years. Now I was currently relocated for my work and am now living in New York. I recently found out that they ship frozen pastelitos through fed ex. I bought them s few weeks ago and am having that same wonderful experience I had while I lived in Miami. Hot pastelitos coming out of my kitchen oven. I have my pastelito de guayaba fix every morning or afternoon or late night. Thanks Gilbert's for thinking of everyone of your customers near or far. I love Gilbert's Bakery

We purchased sandwiches and pastelitos yesterday; the server said that the refrigerator had failed recently, and that the sandwiches might not be good, so she gave us some other ones. When we arrived at our destination, we noticed the sandwiches had white streaks on the bread and emitted a chemical smell--clearly rotten! Amazingly, when we returned the next day, the server refused to reimburse us the $9 from our $40 order, and even argued with me that the sandwiches were fine. (When I invited her to take a bite, she did nothing.) I won't be returning there.

I love their food it is wonderfiul. They have original and creative products that you can not find in other places. Their cakes are amazing and true works of art..... If you have never been, it is definately worth a visit. I love Gilbert's Bakery!!!!!

The food was just amazing! From there ham pastelitos to their pimienta spread. The food is very good. I love going back and eating true cuban food all the time. It is just wonderful.
