Bahia Honda State Park, Big Pine Key

It is the most natural beach I've found yet. If you love someone bring them to Bay Honda. I lived in the Keys for 3 years and this was my best find yet :)

This place is super clean and totally beautiful. Even during the holidays it isn't that crowded and you can go with or with out kids. Just rememer to bring a bathing suit!

Despite cool, windy weather we stopped and glad we did. The beach is beautiful! It was too windy to snorkel but we waded in and there were cute fish following us. When we sat in the water they swam all around and were quite playful. Met the one brave couple who did snorkel close to shore and they said they saw quite a few specimens. Great photo ops. Wish we had more time to spend a second, sunnier day. This is a don't miss spot !

This place is amazing and beautiful....although let me be the one one to warn you. No one did that for us. If you go there steer clear of Sandspur Beach...IT HAS A LITERAL MEANING! Unless you enjoy picking three inch thorns out of your feet, go to Caloosa Beach and save yourself the pain. Other than that this place is beautiful; lots of fish, Iganuas, greenery. Even if you don't want to, go up on the old bridge, you'll be sure to get some great pictures!

Born and raised in Puerto Rico I don't get to say this very often because we have beautiful places all over the island, but visiting Bay Honda was an eye opener. This is by far the most beautiful beach and state park I have ever visited. It just takes your breath away. My wife enjoyed the white sands and the kids saw a lot of sea creatures they had never seen. We live in Homestead and we go there every chance we get. Come visit your Florida Keys and stay in Bahia Honda State Park, you wont regret it!

went there with college aquaintences, great in January and to see it now, mentally I am on the way back...oh yes folks, it would be worth it nostalgia is running wild...not really 2005 but i had to post something it was like i said 1971

The first time I went here was in 1989, it is the most beautiful beach in Florida. I have wonderful pictures of my mother and I wading in the beautiful turquiose water. I have only been back once since, but want to go back again soon.

still am there atleast once a year it is the best beach in fla. unless you are out in a boat on the islands went every weekend growing up with family and friends and sometimes just stopped on the way back from mia. had some of my best times there ANY ONE WHO CAN SHOULD STOP.as one person said go right out of gate but left is great too!!

When we passed by this park we almost stopped, but we were a day behind our plans. Reading this I wish I had just deverted the rest of our vacation to staying here.

My family came down to visit me from philly and we had a great time the kids loved kayaking. It was very clean with lots of things to do.
