This location brings the spirit of Ireland to the Keys, and keeps it going nearly all night; the pub is open until 4am. Dinner is served until 10pm and after that the bar has its own menu. There are two Happy Hours daily and the libations include 16 beers on tap, bottled beer, liquors, wine, and of course, Irish Coffee. For dinner, you can try Irish specialties like brown bread, Irish stew (USD14), and bangers and mash (USD10). It also serves homemade desserts like the flambeed Hot Banana (USD5).

Pub Food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/28/08
Great place to drink a large selection of beers and to have good food that is ample and very reasonable. The Irish nachos, colcannon and bangers and mash are fantastic. They also do great hamburgers and shepherd's pie. It is a must when you visit.

February 12, 2008 Finnegan’s Wake Irish Pub & Eatery a bit off the beaten track but a good place to go. You will find a friendly staff, good food, and a place to have fun. Frank L from Connecticut

Not Bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/04
I've been in so many "Irish" pubs in the United States that sucked that I'm always skeptical. This one's not bad. The singer-guitarist was really Irish, she had a great voice, and most of the songs were Irish. I could have done without the sappy American folk songs she performed, but there were people in the bar who appreciated them. The draft beer selection was exceptional. I went with the Guinness, and my wife had the Harp. Both were fresh, though the Guinness was served a bit too cold. The service was poor, with one person behind the bar and one person waiting tables in the bar on a busy Friday night. They were courteous and hard-working, but they needed some help. The food was good, though nothing special.

Outstanding Irish Pub!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/26/04
A true pub in Key West turned out to be a little harder to find than one might think. Although removed a bit from Duval & the main drag, this pub more than makes up for it in atmosphere. The main bar area is spacious and well-furnished. Live music during the evenings wasn't too loud or obnoxious. A wide assortment of hard-to-find beers on tap round off an excellent and comprehensive menu. A seperate dining area is suitable for families with small children and idea for a quiet meal. An outside patio area with a dedicated bar is perfect for smokers, but the most amazing thing (and why we think this pub deserves five stars) was the chess/checkers and backgamon boards painted on the tables. We went in the off-season, but found service to be friendly and enthusiastic. We were disappointed to find they no longer carried a beer on their menu (Tetley's), but we have nothing else but praise for this outstanding establishment. It was the only place we returned to in Key West (we went thrice).
