Carrie B Cruises, Fort Lauderdale

This was a fantastic tour. The captain / tour guide was very knowledgeable. Great views of millionaires row, intracoastal waterway, the port, etc. We took a Friday tour and found a coupon in Friday's Sun Sentinel newspaper for 'buy one, get one free'. Greal deal!

The tour was time spent well. I got see Fort Lauderdale from the waterway. This is my first seeing it that way after 25 years of living in Fort Lauderdale. The information provided by the tour guide was extensive and engaging. I do recommend others to take this tour whither there are a resident or a traveler.

I loved The Carrie B Cruise. Everyone was so nice and the ride was fantastic. Donny is my favorite. He always has a smile on his face. The scenery is beautiful and full of history and sometimes you can see the dolpins swim beside the boat. Had a great time. Dena

This was a great cruise of Ft. Lauderdale. The boat was very clean. It has an upper and lower deck that offer shade or sun seating. I would get there early if you want to pick your seat, our trip was full. Interesting commentary from the captain. I would take this cruise again.

I don't know if anything could've prepared me for the reality of this trip. I read all the reviews online, including the unedited ones they have on Zerve. I thought I knew what to expect but then you start cruising around on this sightseeing tour and it's amazing just how close we got to the homes & the yachts. Their immense, beautiful, incredibly expensive. Then the cruise ships of Port Everglades - wow! The narrator dude was very good about telling us which ships were which and various tidbits about each. They really are these floating cities. The boat itself is in great shape and is very, very clean. There's a snack bar that serves all kinds of drinks and they had some snack type of foods. But not like a restaurant. Plenty of seating downstairs in the air conditioning, but we all sat upstairs and enjoyed the sun. They take a photo when you board - you don't have to buy it, but it's there if you want it. We passed on it, but they looked nice enough. Even though there were a lot people on board, it never felt crowded. Oh, and they have "real" bathrooms - that was a pleasant surprise (especially for my girlfriend). So, to sum it up - great sightseeing tour (or is it a sightseeing cruise? sightseeing boat tour? whatever - it was great). It's the best way to see the "yachts & homes" of Fort Lauderdale's "rich & famous" - in fact someone pointed out it's like teh *only* way to see it - from the water that is, since you can't exactly drive into these exclusive neighborhoods and walk through their backyards to see the yachts docked there - haha. My grandfather, parents, brother, uncle and aunts all took this trip. We spent a great hour and a half getting a tour of all of the millionaire waterfront mansions and properties with an excellent tour guide (boat captain) named Seaton. The guide made the trip really exciting with all of his knowledge about the homes, the famous people who had lived there, the harbor ships, and just about everything else. There's a snack bar in the hull of the ship with hot dogs, soft pretzels, a liquor bar, beer on tap, and some other snack items. The view is great and you can sit indoors or outside under covered or uncovered seating. I highly recommend the trip.

The boat was comfortable, well equiped with snacks and bar, open seating in the salt air ----what a ride! Incredibly informed Captain narrating the cruise -- humorous and filled with facts and statistics. Views I've never seen in any other part of the world. Go to See on the Carrie B!!!!

The ride was very interesting and with a coupon in the paper made it very inexpensive. We enjoyed the ride through Millionaire avenue with all the expensive houses and then we went out into the harbour and saw some cruise ships. It was well narrated and very worthwhile.

This tour is probably one of the best kept secrets in Fort Lauderdale. In a mere hour and a half you get to see multi million dollar yachts and mansions. Our captain was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. This company totally gets it when it comes to sightseeing cruises. Not only to they have a perfect platform for viewing sights on an open air deck, but an enclosed area with huge windows for great viewing out of the weather. An outstanding sound system allows the captain's live narration to be heard all over the boat. It was my first time on a tour boat that I could understand everything that was being said. They even make fresh squeezed lemonade at the bar the old fashioned "drugstore" way. I'm sold on the Carrie B, it just doesn't get any better than this!
