Las Olas Boulevard
On this chic Las Olas Boulevard in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, you will find boutiques, narrow alleyways, brick walkways, tiny white lights rimming windows and dozens of trendy restaurants. Among more than a hundred shopping and dining options, you will find homemade ice cream at a dessert cafe and a live jazz bar that is always packed. You'll also find hot Tommy Bahamas tropical clothing shop with an antique bicycle parked at the door, a shop specializing in stained glass lamps and another in needlework, stylish hairdressers, unique gift shops and a variety of art galleries.
If you come visit Fort Lauderdale you have to check out Americas Backyard, it's the best place to get drinks and party with friends. I forgot to mention its a outdoor bar and weather at this time is amazing!!!
I love Las Olas so much I am relocating to the area from NC. I love the quaint feel of "Little Italy'. The shopping, the dining, the people, the cultures, all this make this place a wonderful little jewel. Whenever I visit my son in N Miami, I go straight to Las Olas. People watching, luxury automobile watching, and yatch watching, how can you better than that? The evening climate is awesome too!
My love, Joy and I, walked the boulevard, had dinner at Las Olas Cafe, excellent romantic place to eat, good prices, excellent wine selection. The atmosphere on Las Olas Boulevard is fantastic, many different ages and walks of life. Many sidewalk cafes and shops to stroll through. I will always visit this area whenever I come to Ft Lauderdale. We had a wonderful time here and at the Marriott Beach Harbor.
I lived in Ft. Lauderdale for about 8 months and visited Las Olas Blvd frequently. Just driving thru was exquisite. Walking the street you can't resist going into the stores. Pricey, yes but fun. Definately go to the Cheesecake Factory...m m m m m...
I enjoy going to Los Olas, I must admit that if you're taking the kids, don't go there at night. It is a club scene similar to South Beach in Miami, but much more laid back. Prices are a bit expensive, but worth the mooney.
I love Las Olas! The atmosphere, the sights, and the sounds of Las Olas Blvd. appeal to all the senses. Shopping along the river, watching the "dancing" fountains, and riding boats up and down the river, waving to the people watching our house from the park, all combine to make Las Olas a mind-blowing experience.
The wonderful experience was definitely worth the money. My friends and I enjoyed our summer there, and I will come (as I have been coming) every break we get.
nice ambiance and fun street for walking. Lots of nice places and restaurants.
the mansions on the canals are worth checking this is where the big money makers in the US with their luxury boats spend their winter vacation..
