A Paradise for Hedonists
By Dr. Botkin, 08/18/08
A cross between Sodom and Gomorrah. A wicked and degenerate place. A paradise for Hedonists.

As Tina Turner's song says "Simply the Best"
By cheryl, 08/12/08
I love Las Olas so much I am relocating to the area from NC. I love the quaint feel of "Little Italy'. The shopping, the dining, the people, the cultures, all this make this place a wonderful little jewel. Whenever I visit my son in N Miami, I go straight to Las Olas. People watching, luxury automobile watching, and yatch watching, how can you better than that? The evening climate is awesome too!

Upscale area, excellent dining
By Joy Time, 01/03/08
My love, Joy and I, walked the boulevard, had dinner at Las Olas Cafe, excellent romantic place to eat, good prices, excellent wine selection. The atmosphere on Las Olas Boulevard is fantastic, many different ages and walks of life. Many sidewalk cafes and shops to stroll through. I will always visit this area whenever I come to Ft Lauderdale. We had a wonderful time here and at the Marriott Beach Harbor.

Beautiful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/07
I lived in Ft. Lauderdale for about 8 months and visited Las Olas Blvd frequently. Just driving thru was exquisite. Walking the street you can't resist going into the stores. Pricey, yes but fun. Definately go to the Cheesecake Factory...m m m m m...

Los Olas is Definitely the Place for Lovers
By Breezy Baby, 12/06/06
I enjoy going to Los Olas, I must admit that if you're taking the kids, don't go there at night. It is a club scene similar to South Beach in Miami, but much more laid back. Prices are a bit expensive, but worth the mooney.

Espanol fiesta!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/06
I love Las Olas! The atmosphere, the sights, and the sounds of Las Olas Blvd. appeal to all the senses. Shopping along the river, watching the "dancing" fountains, and riding boats up and down the river, waving to the people watching our house from the park, all combine to make Las Olas a mind-blowing experience. The wonderful experience was definitely worth the money. My friends and I enjoyed our summer there, and I will come (as I have been coming) every break we get.

New Yorker take on Las Olas
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Atmossphere reminds me of a cross between Palm Springs and Greenwich Village. Vibrant, lively, classy but somewhat restrained (hence the Palm Springs reference) Great place to eat dinner al fresco (in every season but summer) and walk off those calories. Summer has its advantages when comes to getting reservations at my favorites Indigo (Riverside Hotel) and Johnny V's. Do bring the credit cards. A night on Las Olas including dinner, drinks , and a little shopping can lead to an expense of over $100 per person.

Las Olas BLVD. was a excellent experience, but a very OVER priced area. Definetly recommend the Floridian restaraunt. Great food, great price
