Mediocre at best
*Liked* The cruise was okay. We got to see a tour of Fort Lauderdale (homes on the channels and downtown). We were on the beach strip without a car and the cruise showed us more of Fort Lauderdale. ******* The location of the "island" was nice. It had some animals on display (Alligators, monkeys, and birds). ******The show was nice. It was probably the best of all but very corny. ******* The food was fine. It consisted of ribs, chicken, and shrimp with beans, cole slaw, potato wedges, and bread. The chicken, beans, cole slaw, and bread were good.
*Disliked* The cruise was mostly focused on expensive homes. They shined lights into homes to point out specific things. It was weird and a little like stalking. Also, I don't really care about expensive homes and who lives there. ****** The "island" WAS NOT AN ISLAND. The pamphlet says you are going to an island and you are not in the ocean at all. The cruise actually goes inland through channels and it stops at a peninsula which they are selling as an island. We looked on google maps to find out. This was really disappointing because we thought we were getting off the coast into the ocean. This was very misleading. ********The cost was expensive for the cruise and dinner ($40). Like I said above the food was fine except for the shrimp was not peeled and was cold. Also, there was no free soda just water. ******Lastly, the "island" had no lights to spotlight the animals so we could not even see them. It was lame.
