Jungle Queen Dinner Cruise
By FLSun, 09/13/09
The Cruise was ok would had been alot better if the people next to us with their whole family... in laws , cousins, etc etc wasnt there talking loud, laughing loudly, cussing, baby crying, we couldnt get out of our seats until they moved we were on the inside of the row... people are so inconsiderate of others, The dinner was awful food was cold. ribs, chicken, shrimp wasnt devined or cleaned. If you are looking for a good meal this isnt it maybe just do the cruise.

OK
By Leslie, 03/26/09
The boat didn't bother me so much except that the seats were assigned and the seats were lawn chairs. They were too close to the row in front and quit uncomfortable if you need to get up or let someone pass infront of you. The houses and yachts were nice, which was my favorite part. The food was OK. The ribs were the best of the meat (but still mediocre), but the chicken was undercooked. The shrimp still had the little legs attached, which im not a fan of. The fries were only thing that was actually good, and maybe the beans. The show was pretty bad. The juggler was pretty good, but he was getting a bit annoying when he kept asking us to clap after EVERYTHING. The comedian or magician w/e he was was not funny. At all. We relatively had no time to look at the monkeys or other animals they had. It was basically dinner, show, and walk past the animals on the way to the boat. For $40 per person I guess it wasn't bad, but definately don't expect to have the night of your life.

Would Definitely Go Back
By Mark, 11/07/08
We went on the Jungle Boat Cruise for our 26th anniversary and had a great time. The cruise goes past the homes and yachts of the rich and famous and seeing how they live was most eye opening. The commentary was very informative and our host was excellent. Once at the island, dinner was served immediately which was good because it was seven o’clock. The menu was all you could eat BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Shrimp, and Spicy Shrimp. There was also cole slaw, rolls, baked beans, and steak fries. If you walk away hungry, it’s your own fault. Everything tasted great and the meal was finished off with Chocolate Cake and Coffee. Drinks were available for purchase. The show started off a little shaky but really turned into a very entertaining evening. There ended up being a lot of audience participation that was hilarious. The evening was well worth the money and we would definitely go back. By the way, if you book the tickets on line you save a few bucks.

Waste of Time and Money!
By B, 02/25/08
The food was terrible, the show was marginal and the Jungle Queen staff was rude and unconcerned. Don't waste your time or your money going on the Jungle Queen!

Try it you'll like it.
By Mike, 01/17/08
The Jungle Queen is a really great evening of fun. I tried the Queen while I was and in Ft Lauderdale on business. Now, every time I'm back in town I take the trip and when possible I introduce it to others. I have yet to have anyone say that they didn't like the trip. Give it a try and you won't be sorry.

Disappointing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/07
Our first impression of the boat upon boarding was very disappointing - dirty and in need of paint, including the seats. Surprisingly, in worn condition. The boat departed late (waiting for a group) leaving less time on the island. The alligator show was brief with no seating provided. Although we enjoyed the narration and views along the River, we would not recommend the Jungle Queen based on the condition of the boat and less than expected island features.

Jungle Queen...AWSOME!!!
By m20tigg1977, 07/22/07
GREAT! A must do.......even in the heat of the summer! Views of the mansions are outstanding! Hilarious crew and great food! Don't listen to the negative comments. It is what you make it. Tip: the night trip is a bit dark if you attend during the winter months and as always the return trip is dark. Entertainment was too funny! I would do this excursion again!
