You can see the city from cruises that depart from Las Olas Riverfront Marketplace , itself a waterside dining and shopping spot. These cruises chug by the city's most historic sites, mega-yachts and cruise ships, showy hotels, the city's International Swimming Hall of Fame and Marina. Tours are 90 minutes long, leaving every two hours on the half hour beginning at 10:30a. There is an evening cruise at 8:30p. It is wise to call ahead, however, as times may change seasonally. Departure is every two hours, call for seasonal changes.

Do not trust tour times as posted.
By Troy, 09/10/09
I have been in Lt. Lauderdale all week and have called each day. he answer I get is, we are not sure if the boat is going out. So we finally drove down today, paid to park, went and asked to buy tickets in which the guy at the counter said I'll starting slling tickets in a few minute. Well 30 minutes went past and he comes and tells us that the boat is not going out after we had sat there and wait. Very poor on communication. Their ads and signs need to be changed to " We decide when the boats go out. You'll have to come and see if we are taking a tour".

Took our friends who were visiting from Virginia - we had a blast. Beautiful scenery, friendly staff , nice boat and we each had a free drink from the bar! What more could you want.

The Venice of America Riverfront Cruise was soooooo much fun. My friends and I were down last week for Springbreak and wanted to do something different and out of the ordinary. We all had an Awesome time and learned a lot about Ft. Lauderdale. The Crew were so nice and friendly. I would recommend this Tour to everyone! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Great Time Especially for Kids
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/08
Had a great time! My husband and I and our two boys took this tour last week. The boat was comfortable. The captain and staff were very friendly. They even let my boys sit in the captain's seat and take pictures. This is a great way to see the unbelievable mansions on the water! Carol Traynor Tom's River, NJ

Wonderful Riverfront Sighteeing Tour! My Friends and I LOVED it! The Commentary was Fabulous! We saw Celebrity Homes, Mansions and Cruises Ships as we cruised around Port Everglades. The Crew were Very Friendly and Courteous. The 1 1/2 hour Tour was just perfect. We loved it so much we got back on and did it again. Don't miss this tour!!!!!!!! It will be the Highlight of your Vacation.

Don't waste your time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/12/08
After fifteen minutes of waiting to board, the captain decided to cancel the cruise. They refunded money but did not refund any parking money. Horrible experience - don't waste your time with these guys!!

Worth the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/07
We chose this tour for the length of time - 90 minutes which was about the right amount of time for kids. It was very relaxing and enjoyable, but mostly all you see is how the rich and famous live, not much about Ft. Lauderdale. So if that is what you are looking for - you might want to try something else. The captain was very informative and entertaining and we are glad we rode the tour.

I have been taking visitors and friends on the Riverboat Cruise for the past 8 years. Everyone loves it. It is entertaining and timed just right. It is one terrific way to spend 90 minutes.
