Located in downtown Ft Lauderdale the Historic Stranahan House Museum is a must see. It was orginally a trading post owned and operated by Frank Stranahan. In 1906 it was turned into a home for Frank an his wife Ivy.
The tour is about 45 minutes and tells the
history of the city, the contributions the Stranahans made to the area,their relationship with the Seminole Indians, and their lives in the river settlement.
The Museum is open everyday, tours are offered at 1, 2, & 3 pm. $12 adults, $11 seniors, & $7 students and children.
