Shooter's Waterfront Cafe USA

Went to Shooters in Ft. Lauderdale to find my purse was stolen. Turns out the hostess took it. They caught her with my purse in her purse. When they gave me back my purse, my money was already taken out. The hostess ran out the door with my money in hand. The police were called and I filed a police report. I did not get my money back and the owner offered us 1/2 off our bill (big deal, I lost a lot more money than the bill). Who does that? Turns out the hostess has been stealing money since she started there. A little shady to me. Living out of the state of Florida, the owner said he would call me. Guess what, 3 weeks later, have not heard from him!!! What should have been a nice evening with my family turned into a nightmare at Shooters. Imagine your employee;s stealing from your customers. Not a very safe place to be.

I took a friend to Shooters for lunch. The menu had changed since the last time I was there. I asked the waitress about the lobster burger. She said it was great. It was terrible. I didn't taste any lobster in it. I think it might have been imitation lobster. My onion rings were greasy and under cooked. My friends fish and chips were luke warm. She ordered Reisling Wine and was told they didn't have any. So she ordered white zinfindale, it wasn't good. Either it was an old bottle or it wasn't the zinfindale. Also we had to ask for silverware after our lunches were served. My friend asked for a cappachino and was told the machine was broken. They've lost my business

Recently Shooter's has had a new management run the restaurant and it shows. The food has been consistenly good and service is much more professional. Nice to see the fresh change to a landmark that had seem to go south for some time. Good job on new management and keep up the work.
