Lunch of Choice
Penn Grill is great any time of day actually - be it for breakfast or lunch. While some people have complained that it takes time - it's only because it's so busy, especially at peak times.
The choices at breakfast are rather varied, and are all tasty - hotcakes, french toast, eggs, grits, etc. I myself prefer one of their egg, cheese and bacon on a bagel sandwiches. Yes, you can get something similar at one of those bagel shops or the coffee shop at the corner, but there's nothing more satisfying than knowing that it's real egg, real cheese, and real bacon on a toasted bagel, neatly sliced in half for your convenience.
As for lunch - they have such good grilled sandwiches, such as Philly Cheese Steak (which can be gotten with chicken), with your choice of filling, as well the Teriyaki sandwich (again, your choice of filling), as spicy as you request. Getting them with their thick cut fries (not to be mistaken for steak fries!), that only need a hint of salt for the full flavor to come out. The stir fry is another popular option - you choose the ingredients from their bar, and you pay by the weight - but after it's cooked. You can add white rice for a little extra, and you have the makings for a satisfying, yet healthy, lunch.
My only complaint - it's not open for dinner!
