Casual, yet appropriate for fine occasions, the Rusty Scupper offers you a variety of exciting dishes and a Sunday brunch, with views overlooking the Long Island Sound. In the warmer months, al fresco dining is a must, so that you can enjoy the fresh air and full view of the Sound. Convenient to Sports Haven, the Amistad and Quinnipiack Schooner Trips, Long Wharf Theater , and Route 95 for easy access to downtown, The Rusty Scupper is the place to have a memorable meal, with inventive twists on your traditional seafood fare.
We were there for a great Thanksgiving brunch. Great food and fine service. There was even a piano player giving a nice tone to the experience.
I noticed as we were leaviing that the food was being replaced and seemed as fresh as when we went up to the line an hour or so earlier.
The view off the water is just what you need after the great meal to digest and contemplate.
The only problem I have found is that the place is very hard to get in on Easter!
