One of the more intriguing ways to see the sights of downtown and LoDo, Venice on the Creek (formerly Punt the Creek) tours offer guided float trips down Cherry Creek. Learn elements of Denver's wild past from the place it all began while riding a cross between a traditional gondola and Huck Finn's makeshift raft. Tours run about 50 minutes. Pick up tickets at the Larimer Street kiosk, between Speer and 14th Avenue. Boats depart every 10 minutes. Tours are offered seasonally so check the website for more details.
