Michael Garman Sculpture Gallery, Colorado Springs

My wife and I just completed a 3300 mile trip to Colorado Springs to visit "Magic Town". We loved all the country and people we met along the way but the crowning glory was our visit to Michael Garman's "Magic Town". The staff we met were outstanding while we spent hours taking pictures and asking questions. In 1976 we purchased "Yesterdays News" and later we purchased "Evening News". Thur the years we have enjoyed displaying and looking at these amazing pieces of art. If you grew up in the 40's, 50's and 60's you will probably recognize some of these same people and places in your town. The detail and displays are phenomenal. With the use of mirrors, intricate lighting and mobile graphics you see new things every time you peek in a window or through a doorway. Don't expect Disneyland, but do expect to enjoy a leisurely walk thur yesteryear! Thank you, Michael Garman and staff!

I enjoyed being able to not only shop, but experience the artwork on display. Old and young visitors could enjoy the exhibition and appreciate the creation of the Michael Garman sculptures.

I was there in 1988 and I cant stop raving about it. The town he built with the holograms is so amazing! This is one stop you cant miss while visiting! Its like entering a whole new world.

The art work was beautiful, it was very well presented in a great part of Old Colorado City. We loved it, and are reccomending it to all our friends.
