Bridalveil Falls Day Hike, Wawona

Yosemite National Park was absolutely breathtaking! I love waterfalls anyway, but to see the beauty that God created in this place was awesome! I definitely would like to go back someday.

On a hot summer day, this is the place to be. At the basin, you can just take it all in and cool off. Its well worth the small hike. It does get busy in the summer, but thats okay :) Nature at one of its best!

it was a super short hike to the bottom of these beautiful falls. its best to wear a raincoat, the mist becomes more of a rainfall the closer you get. personally they are more beautiful from far away...

Perhaps I'm biased because this was the first thing we did in Yosemite park, but this hike brings you right to the base of the falls. Looking up you can see mist. Often just mist, but at times the mist was thin you could see the falls spilling over the rocks. We saw this in late April in the morning, when the falls were gushing and the sun was almost directly above the crest. At the base, everywhere you look is a rainbow. This hike doesn't have a lot of scenery building up to the falls, but the falls itself is spectacular. I recommend coming in from the north side instead fo the busier parking lot.
