Description
This visitor information center is located in Oakhurst just 11 miles from the South entrance to the park. Here you will find information about the U. S. Forest Service, hotels, restaurants, attractions and more. The US Forest Service employees at this center can issue permits for campfires and fuel wood as well as wilderness permits. In addition to the information, the center has several historical displays depicting the surrounding area. Complimentary coffee, tea and water are available.
