Yosemite Coffee and Roasting Company

AVOID THIS PLACE! I had the absolute worst coffee house experience of my life here. I ordered a double shot of espresso and it came over extracted and bitter. When I told the woman who made it that it was un-acceptable, I received a 5 minute lecture on how this was the way they did things and that I should have known that my drink was going to be a long shot (3 oz in stead of 2) and it was my fault for not asking them how they did their shots. After I put up with this lecture, the woman turned her back and left, making it quite obvious that I was served and I should drink what I had. After being left standing on my own with an unacceptable drink and without the offer of a remake, substitution or refund, I picked up the nearest empty cup, left the swill I was served on the counter and poured a cup of standard brewed coffee from the air pots on the counter and left. When I got to my vehicle, the woman ran out and threatened me to call the sheriff as (I) was a thief and was stealing coffee!! I handed her the coffee back as I was late for an appointment in town and returned later for a refund of my money and was again lectured on how I was a thief and how they did things there. I asked for the owner but he was not there. I called the chamber of commerce in Oakhurst and was assured that the owner would be interested in how I was treated and was given his phone number (which the woman refused to give me). When I called him, I was again lectured on how they did things and that it was ME that was wrong as he had never before had anyone complain about the coffee(do a search for the truth) or how they did things. I endured this for about five minutes before he asked what I wanted. At this point (I had given up on getting a refund from this horrible merchant) I told him I just wanted my side of the story told, after which he again assailed me with how I was so ignorant about coffee and that this whole episode was my fault! I find it ironic that in the end, while I was accused of stealing, it was in fact the Yosemite coffee and roasting company who stole from me as I still have no coffee and they have my money in their till!
