Wonderful Park for the Family
By ,
I liked everything about the place - my son loves to go Skateboarding in the awesome skatepark and I just like walking around and people watch doing water activities. It's a great place to bring your family and friends for a picnic...

Beautiful Park with huge lakes, and ducks. Nice Walk, Jog, or bike paths. This place is wonderful for picnicing, or to take a nice romantic walk and watch nature.

I didn't dislike anything at all. When I go back, I'm going to make sure I get a picture. You will never be disappointed coming here. It Is also shares acerage with Raging Waters.

fishing/hiking
By ,
The park is samll, but if you like to get a quick run...its a nice option. It has a paved path about 2 miles along the perimeter of a park. If you are looking for an afternoon of fishing, its not a bad location. We caught a few channel catfish, about 12 inches.

Best Sunsets.
By ,
The description says admission is free (true) but there is a parking fee in the summer months 7 days a week and in the shoulder months on weekends ($6.00 regular/$2.00 discount. Raging Waters water slide park is also located inside this City of San Jose park for the same parking fee. Wildlife viewing is excellent for the water fowl and related birds. Sunsets are the best in San Jose.

It's dull.
By ,
The park is niceto have bbq's and have a fun party. But beware, most spots have no trees what so ever. Thus, you will need to do something about shade. The area to get to the park is horrible so watch for bad drivers. When it gets boring, there's always ragin waters along the path.

Admission Price
By ,
The lake operates seasonally in conjunction with Raging Waters (located within the park). Although the park is open year-round, in the summer months a $6 fee is charged for vehicle entry and parking (discounts available). Walk in is free year-round. Note that this park offers fishing. Regular stocking of catfish occur in the summer and trout in the winter. Dogs and kite flying are not allowed in the park.
