Crawling for three miles alongside the Guadalupe River and harnessing Highway 87, this unique natural environment contains a rose garden, jogging trails, several species of birds and lots of picnic tables. Nestled in a particularly scenic spot in the South Bay, it is a great place for a day's outing or a slow leisurely walk. Improvements are ongoing and when it is finally completed, it will be a spectacular place for everyone in the family.

WHAT A JOKE
By Justin, 08/03/08
This place is not worth the time or day. I was truely disappointed with the large companies that have a base here ie. Adobe, HP... to have a park that is in such disrepair, and badly landscaped in need of desperate attention.

Where is the park?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/06
I could not find one... or did I visit in a wrong time of the year? There was a rose garden, and some roses... but it did not look like a garden. If you want to visit, call them and get details (the visiter center was close when I visited!)

They got this one right
By Tecosfan1, 10/18/05
After a series of false starts to help give San Jose an identity that doesn't include an eccentric to possibly seriously mentally disturbed rifle heiress, the city planners might just have finally gotten it right. I thoroughly enjoyed following the meandering (at places) Guadalupe as it makes its way through downtown San Jose. if nothing else it satisfies that basic urge that is in some of us to find the most direct path between two points. If you go at the right time, and really listen, it can nearly take you back to when there really wasn't much here but the Guadalupe. They still have some work to do, but as it is stands, it is as an outstanding option for a pleasant bike ride or a leisurely stroll.
