Dirty Bins and Overpriced Stale Candy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/7/07
All the candy my son picked out had to be wiped off and it tasted like it had been sitting in the bins for years. I went back into the store and told them, the person behind the counter acted like I was bothering her. I took a good look in the bins and there was literally lint and what looked like dirt in the bins.
Also, when we went back, the manager was accusing kids of stealing and checked the contents of their pockets. These poor kids were treated quite shabby and when no stolen candy showed up in there pockets, the manager said nothing. No apology!!
I am surprised for a town as wonderful as Los Gatos, such a store can exist. There is a fabulous candy store just down the street which we will go to from now on.
