Balboa Park Miniature Train, San Diego

What better place to take your children or "children at heart" who enjoy all things Railroad. This nifty little train ride is worth every $ 1.25 each passenger pays. It's not often these days that you can find such an enjoyable family outing at this low price. And with so many other attractions nearby, an afternoon trip to Balboa Park is the ulitimate way to spend some quality time with friends and family.

Living in San Diego my whole life (40 Yrs), I've seen many things that have come and gone. Thanksfully thisis still there. When I was 10 my dad took me on this train and recently I took my son and daughter and we had a blast. Its not a very long ride and at times it's a little cheesy, but the kids thought it was fantastic ( I did too). It's right next to the SD Zoo and also to a carousel that will bring back memories. Definately include thsi as part of your day at Balboa Park and the SD Zoo (all next to each other within walking distance).
