Flower Fields, The, Carlsbad

I visited the Carlsbad Flower Fields at Carlsbad, CA about a month ago. Although it is very beautiful to see all the brightly colored flowers, I just don't think it's worth thr 8.00 per adult admission charge (7.00 with AAA card). There was supposed to be some sort of "pea maze," but in its place was something else that was probably not worth the walk down the hill. And don't bother paying 3.00 for a hay ride pulled by a tractor when you can walk up the small hill yourself. And, if you are a man, read this: I was looking for restrooms, and found them...I thought...I go see the restroom building entrance, one side (left side) says "Women," so of course I assumed then the other side (right side) must be "Men." No need then to look, as actually I was running late, so I briskly walk inside and something caught my attention...I see under one stall someone wearing black platform sandals with red-painted toes! What? I look around, and there are no urinals! I thought this was the Men's restroom, but as it turns it out, it was not!!!! The women's use both sides of the building! If you are a man, they have PORTABLES for you outside!!!!!!!!!!! How crappy is that? Don't pay 8.00 to use a portable restroom when women have their own clean restrooms, sucks big time!!!!! Needless to say, I got the hell out of that restroom and the flower fields altogether.
