My some played Junior golf for SDJGA and on June 30th we had to stay in there hotel rooms. room 101 and room 102 on our way to our room there was two big norwegian rodents right in from of the door sniffing under the ddoor trying to get in. my son could not sleep at all that night. This place is a dive... need less to say my sone play terrible the next day. I do not recommend this place to anyone
I don't know what happened to this place, but it has really gone downhill over the past year or so. I ised to come in at least once a week for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and it has always been great food and service, now the service ir rediculously aweful. nobody seems to know what they're doing and seriously, the last server I had didn't even seem to know where the kitchen was. I waited over an hour for an appetizer and guess what - I was the only person in the restaurant! Don't even bother asking to speak to a manager because I don't think they have one.
My husband and I eat breakfast in the restaurant at least 2X a month. Not only is the food good, but the service is excellent and it's the least expensive breakfast in all of Santee. I had my daughter's baby shower in the restaurant and the staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. I am so pleased with the restaurant staff and food that I am hoping to have our family Christmas party there for all my extended family. I have already recommended the restaurant to my friends and I am sure my family will also be pleased with the restaurant after we have our Christmas luncheon next month.
I always come in July and stay here. I love the location as I have family only 1-2 miles away. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are always clean. Love staying there. The only thing I have to add is there should be a discount on people who stay every year.
We had to stay here because our apartment was sbeing fumigated.
The wallpaper was peeling off the walls of the lobby.
There wasnt a Ice machine to be seen.
The Bed couldnt of been harder and they used such a harsh detergent that I couldnt fall asleep because of the strong smell and it made my throat ich. I had to cover up the pillow with a blanket that I had brought, then it got better.
The showerhead looked like it was the first one ever invented, but it worked ok.
We were upstairs and it had to be frustrating for the people underneath us because I could tell that no matter how lightly we tried to walk, they could hear every step.
The restaurant was absurdly expensive.
***I set 2 of the hotels alarms- alarm clock and set a wake up call--and neither one of them worked. I was very late to work.
You might as well stay at a motel 6.
