Fashion Valley Shopping Center, San Diego

I visited San Diego late last year (Nov 2010), my favorite shop in this exquisite mall was JC penny, their goods seemed to be relatively cheap n you could get everything you want in the same shop ranging from clothings to household equipments, it's such a massive departmental store and the staff were ever willing to lend a helping hand. Of course I visited Macy's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, so much talked about Neiman Marcus (all thanks to Blu Cantrel :))n a host of others but JC penny is my store any day, will hopefully be visiting again this year, can't waittttt :)

I've lived in San Diego for 35 years and have watched the Fashion Valley Mall become what it is today. It is my favorite place to shop. The opening of Bloomingdales in 2007 was a welcome event. I've found shopping there to be a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. While I won't use her name, the little sales associate in the petite department is a wonderful part of the Bloomindales experience. I’m fond of just walking the mall and discovering the specialized boutiques that have so many unique and distinctive clothing and gifts. Now that the Bing Crosby’s restaurant is open, it is an added bonus to the shopping experience. Once inside I forget that I came in off the mall and can relax and appreciate the respite that reminiscing of times gone by has to offer. I can’t wait to see what Fashion Valley Mall has in store for the holiday season and I will definitely stop back to Bloomies to visit my little friend in petites.

Fashion Valley Mall is a great mix of high end stores and reasonable prices for the more price conciouse shopper. It also has great resturaunts right next to the mall. If you love cheese cake, the Cheese Cake Factory and PF Changs is right there. You have Macy's, JC Penny at the other end. Neiman Marcus to the Apple store. I have not been in a few weeks but H&M should now be open! This is a great mall, one of my favorites!

I Really Enjoyed this shopping centre. It had a great variety of stores with everything from Nordstrom to Foot Locker. It is an out door mall, but with the fabulous San Diego weather, I found my shopping experience very pleasurable. Perhaps I am bias seeing that I absolutely love San Diego. All in all Fashion Vally provided me with a quite positive shopping experience.

I live in San Diego and have all my life. I love Fashion Valley Mall. The place has really improved over the years. As far as the other review saying the Cheesecake Factory is subpar, I disagree, the Cheesecake Factory is a great place to eat! but there is always a wait. Worth the wait. There are other eating places around the area. The stores are fun and the mall has all the stores for an exciting day.

store variety is excellent with great dinning, is if very crowded and parking can be unenjoyable. best time to shop is in late morning early afternoon. outdoor setting is relaxing and chic. wear comfortable walking shoes, it's a shoppers paradise!

This mall not only has shops you won't find anywhere else in San Diego, but the department stores and chains carry better items than other stores in SD. This is, hands-down, the best shopping experience in San Diego! A caveat: get there as close as possible to "opening time", as the parking is completely nuts at any other time of the day.

It is always a great shopping experience. Located in beautiful San Diego and hosting a variety of stores, from Neiman Marcus to Z Gallery, this mall is awesome. It is my favorite. I live in Yuma, AZ and frequently make the trip. It is well worth the effort!
